Role Description We’re looking for a designer with strong illustration skills. This role will support ongoing merch development, primarily apparel (hoodies, tees), with possible expansion into plushies, backpacks, accessories, and jewelry. The work will be highly collaborative with a small team and fast-paced, with a few rounds of back-and-forth iterations based on tone, vibe, and style references provided at the start of each project. We are looking for someone to commit approximately 20 hours per week on a part-time basis, with a long-term goal of transitioning to a full-time role if successful. Key Responsibilities - Produce original illustrations and designs based on provided creative direction and mood/visual references. - Iterate quickly through 2 - 3 rounds of feedback for each design. - Adapt artwork to various formats and dimensions for merchandise production. - Maintain consistency with the brand aesthetic and the shared style inspiration. - Use Photoshop, Illustrator, or Procreate to generate, refine, and finalize artwork. - Ensure final files meet print-ready requirements. Qualifications - Strong illustration skills with a portfolio that clearly aligns with the design styles and inspirations we provide. - Proficiency in Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc). - Ability to interpret visual references and match/replicate the tone, mood, and style direction. - Fast iteration speed and comfort working in a collaborative, feedback-heavy environment. - Excellent taste and a strong eye for composition, color, and detail. - Understanding of visual trends among Gen Z and Gen Alpha, especially within the 16–22 y/o female demographic. - Ability to design across multiple merchandise categories (apparel, plush, accessories). Portfolio Requirements Applicants must submit a portfolio that includes work similar in vibe to the sample inspiration provided. If the style alignment isn’t clear, this role isn’t the right fit. We’re primarily known for our ghost-hunting videos on YouTube. We have an incredible fan base of immensely supportive fans, our main YT channel has over 12M subscribers and 1.7 billion views. You can check us out here: https://www.youtube.com/@samandcolby . We are looking for an editor who can cut together YouTube videos that will be seen by millions of people. You’ll be working with our lead editor on the main channel content as well as editing content for our other channels/platforms. This will be a full-time position with many possibilities for growth. Not only will the content you work on be seen by millions of people, but you’ll be a valuable team member who directly contributes to the business as a whole. What you will be doing: - You will be an assistant editor on the main Sam and Colby channel, though you’ll frequently help with many other projects. - Cut, trim, and arrange footage. Add graphics, titles, transitions, sound effects, music, etc. - Stay updated on the latest YT editing trends and techniques to increase engagement (and to appease the algorithm gods). - Add your creative flair to all videos. While we have a style and format we stick to, we’re always looking for ways to innovate and make the content better! - Work directly with Sam, Colby, and the other members of our creative team to release content that continues to grow our YouTube channel and other social media channels. Qualifications - Located in North America to sync with our teams in the Pacific Time Zone. - At least 2 years of experience working in Adobe Premiere. - Experience in editing fast-paced and long-form videos. - Skilled in editing, pacing, sound design, and color. - Genuine passion for YouTube and the creator ecosystem.
