Role Description You’ll design and support transformation efforts across the agrifood system. That includes: - Small and mid-sized farms - Food processing operations - Restaurants, hotels and HORECA professionals - Public and private food service institutions You’ll join a small team working on learning journeys, site-based collaborations and strategic support. We don’t offer one size fits all answers and we don’t work top down. Most of what we do is co-created with the people directly involved. This is a role for someone who understands how systems change happens. Not in theory/textbooks but in kitchens, fields and rooms where real decisions get made. Qualifications - Experience in one or more of the following areas: - Agriculture or regenerative farming - Food processing or kitchen operations - Restaurant, hospitality or HORECA management - Food systems research, policy or strategy - Systems thinking and adaptive ways of working - Supported teams through change, especially toward more sustainable or community-based practices - Communicate clearly and thoughtfully, even when things are complex - Work well independently, but enjoy collaborating in small, diverse teams - Care deeply about food, people and place and how they connect Requirements - You could be just starting your career and full of curiosity or you may have years of experience and want to apply your skills in more hands-on ways. - You’re the kind of person who notices what others miss, works with care and keeps the bigger picture in mind. Role Description We are looking for a Transformation Specialist to support projects, learning activities and field based collaborations across agriculture and food systems. This role is suited to someone who enjoys spending time close to operational realities. Someone curious about how farms, food businesses, kitchens, cooperatives and local initiatives function in practice and how improvement happens over time. You will contribute to projects involving: - Farms and agricultural producers - Food processing and value added operations - Restaurants, hotels and HORECA environments - Cooperatives and local initiatives - Rural development and food system projects Much of our work involves observation, collaboration and practical problem solving. We rarely apply standard solutions. Instead, we work alongside stakeholders to understand local realities and identify opportunities for meaningful improvement.
