Role Description Responsible for managing the closing process for wholesale mortgage loans, with a strong focus on government products (FHA, VA, USDA) and accurate, compliant Closing Disclosure (CD) preparation and delivery. Ensures all loans meet investor, regulatory, and internal requirements while supporting timely and accurate closings. - Manage end-to-end closing process for wholesale mortgage loans - Prepare, review, and deliver Closing Disclosures (CDs) in compliance with TRID regulations and timing requirements - Ensure accuracy of fees, cash-to-close, and loan terms on all disclosures - Draw docs for Government loans (FHA, VA, USDA) in accordance with program guidelines - Review loan files for adherence to wholesale investor overlays and compliance standards - Coordinate with brokers, account executives, underwriters, and title/settlement agents to facilitate smooth closings - Identify and resolve discrepancies between Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosures - Ensure all closing conditions are met prior to funding - Maintain pipeline and meet established closing deadlines - Stay current on TRID, government lending guidelines, and investor requirements Qualifications - Minimum 3+ years of Mortgage Closing experience - Strong background in Wholesale lending environment - Proven experience with Government loan programs (FHA, VA, USDA) - Hands-on experience with Closing Disclosure (CD) preparation and review - Knowledge of TRID regulations and compliance requirements - Experience working with brokered/third-party originations - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to manage high-volume pipeline Preferred Skills - Experience with Encompass - Knowledge of investor overlays and wholesale guidelines - Exposure to funding or post-closing processes Skills & Competencies - Wholesale Mortgage Closing - Government Loan Expertise (FHA/VA/USDA) - Closing Disclosure Accuracy & Compliance - TRID Knowledge - Pipeline Management - Attention to Detail - Cross-functional Coordination
