Role Description The Senior Marketing Operations Manager is a highly collaborative and analytical problem solver who develops and implements creative solutions to operational challenges. As a key member of the Marketing Operations team, you will enable the global Marketing and Sales organizations through scalable processes, trusted data, efficient technology, and operational excellence. The Senior Marketing Operations Manager plays a critical role in enabling the marketing organization through scalable systems, processes, data, and automation. This role is responsible for the administration, optimization, and enhancement of our marketing technology ecosystem, lead lifecycle framework, database strategy, reporting infrastructure, and AI-enabled operational workflows. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with analytical thinking and a continuous improvement mindset. They are passionate about operational excellence, data integrity, workflow automation, and leveraging emerging technologies to improve marketing performance, increase scalability, and drive measurable business outcomes. This individual is equally comfortable working within systems, solving complex operational challenges, partnering across functions, and translating business requirements into scalable solutions. This is a highly hands-on role requiring a strong builder mindset. Success in this position requires a willingness to work directly within systems, develop solutions, troubleshoot issues, and drive execution while balancing strategic initiatives and long-term operational improvements. How You’ll Shape the Experience - Lead the strategy, administration, optimization, and governance of marketing systems, lead management processes, marketing databases, automation frameworks, and reporting infrastructure that support scalable demand generation and pipeline growth. - Define "metrics that matter" and develop dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights to Marketing leadership and key stakeholders. - Monitor, analyze, and provide insights into funnel performance, marketing contribution to pipeline, customer acquisition, buying group engagement, contact acquisition, database health, campaign effectiveness, and overall marketing performance to identify opportunities for optimization and growth. - Drive strong sales and marketing alignment through initiatives and processes that support lead management and governance, improved lead quality, enhanced data quality, and operational efficiency. - Serve as the primary administrator for core marketing technologies and partner with stakeholders to ensure platforms are effectively configured, integrated, governed, and optimized to support marketing objectives, data integrity, workflow automation, and business scalability. - Partner with Sales Operations and IT to identify, design, and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency, data quality, scalability, and business performance. - Partner with Marketing leadership to provide ongoing analysis and insights related to marketing investments, pipeline impact, attribution, funnel performance, and goal attainment. - Execute marketing database strategy by identifying opportunities to improve data quality, enrichment, segmentation, contact acquisition, compliance, and overall database health. Establish scalable processes that ensure data integrity, support audience targeting, improve buying group visibility, and enable accurate reporting and decision-making. - Identify opportunities to modernize marketing operations through workflow automation, AI-enabled solutions, signal-based targeting, and emerging technologies. Partner across teams to evaluate, implement, and operationalize capabilities that improve efficiency, scalability, lead management, reporting, and overall marketing effectiveness. - Create and maintain documentation, governance standards, workflows, and operational procedures that support consistent execution and long-term scalability. - Manage vendor relationships, contracts, licensing, and renewals while partnering with Legal, Security, Procurement, and IT teams to ensure compliance with organizational requirements. - Serve as a trusted operational partner across Marketing, SDR, Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, IT, and Web teams, ensuring systems, data, reporting, and processes support business objectives and drive alignment across the lead-to-revenue lifecycle. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, related field, or equivalent experience - 7+ years of professional experience in marketing operations in a B2B SaaS environment - Advanced HubSpot administration experience - Deep understanding of lead lifecycle management, lead scoring, routing, and funnel optimization - Experience managing marketing automation platforms and supporting complex marketing technology ecosystems - Strong background in data governance, database management, and enrichment strategies - Experience building workflows, automation, and scalable operational processes - Experience working within Salesforce environments and partnering closely with Sales Operations and Salesforce Administration teams to support lead-to-account processes, routing, data integrity, and CRM optimization, including defining requirements and coordinating updates to Lead, Contact, Account, and Opportunity objects. - Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to translate data into business insights - Experience supporting account-based marketing and buying group initiatives - Strong project management, documentation, and organizational skills - Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred Experience - Salesforce CRM - Clay - Qualified - 6sense - Openprise - NeverBounce - Swoogo - Knak - Webflow - Google Analytics - Domo - Experience with intent data, account intelligence, signal-based targeting, and modern data enrichment platforms. - AI-powered marketing workflows, automation, and operational process optimization - Experience supporting account-based marketing programs, buying group initiatives, signal-based marketing, data enrichment strategies, and AI-driven operational workflows. - Email deliverability and outbound infrastructure platforms such as SendGrid, Instantly, or similar solutions Benefits - Flexible PTO for salary paid employees - Hourly employees accrue PTO based on tenure & receive 5 sick days annually.
