Role Description This is an opportunity to join an early-stage, clinician-founded health technology company on a mission to make AI genuinely useful for clinical research and personalised care, built by ophthalmologists with deep data expertise, and backed by a major healthcare technology player. Our client unifies fragmented clinical and imaging data using interoperable standards (FHIR, DICOM, HL7) to turn siloed health data into actionable intelligence at scale. Their flagship product combines EHR and imaging data to identify trial-eligible patients in real time during routine care, already live with sites and sponsors across Australia and the US. Now they're looking for a Technical Product Manager to own delivery of their healthcare data product end to end. Your role will include: - Translating founder-set vision into a clear, prioritised roadmap and well-defined requirements - Owning and maintaining the backlog, synthesising research and stakeholder input into ready-to-build work - Defining acceptance criteria and holding final sign-off on what ships - Running user research and testing with clinical and business stakeholders - Defining and tracking the metrics that show real platform impact - Acting as the bridge across clinical, engineering, customer and senior business stakeholders - Driving work from idea to shipped feature, managing constraints, dependencies and timelines - Identifying and mitigating risk across architecture, data availability and security This isn't a role for someone who just wants to write tickets. It's about ownership, judgement and shipping things that matter in healthcare. Qualifications - 5+ years in product management, including hands-on backlog and delivery ownership - Strong understanding of healthcare data interoperability standards (FHIR, DICOM, HL7), APIs and EMR/EHR integrations - Hands-on experience with JIRA, Notion, Slack and modern agile delivery in a fast-paced startup - Strong analytical skills and the ability to break down problems using data - Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders, including direct end-user experience - Comfort working across Australia, US and India time zones in a dynamic, evolving environment Requirements - Judgement, curiosity and genuine builder energy Benefits - Real ownership from day one, in an early-stage, founder-led company - Mission-driven work improving patient outcomes through better data - Backed by a major player in healthcare technology - Global team spanning Australia, the US and India - Work directly with clinician founders shaping the product vision - Genuine impact, build the thing, don't just manage the backlog
