Role Description We are looking for a Senior DeFi Business Development lead to own Re7's partnership pipeline across our full DeFi product suite — vault deployments, ecosystem chain partnerships, and distribution of Re7's tokenised funds. This is a senior, high-ownership role. You will own the full sales cycle from outreach to close — identifying chains and protocols that can benefit from Re7's liquidity, risk management, and vault infrastructure, and converting them into live partnerships — covering tier-1 allocators on one end and crypto-native distribution partners on the other. Your track record speaks for itself: you are crypto-native, have existing relationships across DeFi, and have structured and closed deals through your own network. You bring the hunger, discipline, and tenacity to drive Re7's growth. Responsibilities - Build and manage a strong pipeline of institutional investors and family offices, with a focus on tier-1 allocators. - Source and develop relationships with L1 foundations, DeFi/crypto/fintech distribution partners, custodians, exchanges, and crypto wallets. - Define, lead, and execute Re7's end-to-end business development strategy across both TradFi and crypto-native channels. - Provide leadership and mentorship to the broader sales and BD team. - Represent Re7 at industry events through networking, speaking, and relationship building. - Drive brand awareness and reputation via promotional events, content, and thought leadership. - Ensure all client-facing materials showcase Re7 to the highest standard. - Maintain a feedback loop between market intelligence and the product team to ensure Re7’s offering reflects the latest market demand. Qualifications - 5+ years of crypto or financial services sales experience, with meaningful seniority and a leadership track record. - Proven ability to raise capital and close deals with institutional investors, family offices, or equivalent allocators — with results attributable to your own relationships and personal brand. - Experience working with or selling into crypto-native clients (exchanges, custodians, L1 foundations, fintech) is essential. - Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and sustain a network of long-term, high-value relationships. - Self-starter who can operate autonomously, move fast, and thrive in a high-octane environment. - Strong work ethic, results-focused, with full ownership and accountability for outcomes. • Design and maintain Python / TypeScript bots for rebalancing and automation across our DeFi vaults • Plan, build and execute complex on-chain transactions (cross-chain bridges, staking loops, liquidity migrations) • Integrate new chains and restaking operators/networks with internal data pipelines • Partner with Re7 Technology, Portfolio Management and broader DeFi Labs teams to explore, scope out and support the delivery of product expansion and automation opportunities • Identify new protocols and evaluate economic & smart-contract risks • Conduct deep-dive technical due-diligence on new platforms and vault architectures
