Role Description We're looking for a Freelance Marketing Lead to own the marketing function end to end while our brand and creative output is led separately. You'll be the operator that turns our brand and creative work into measurable growth. Members, attendance, signups, engagement, revenue. If brand and creative is the engine, you're the fuel system and the wheels. This is a hands-on role. You'll be running things yourself, not delegating, with full ownership of how RGC performs across every owned and paid channel. What you'll own - The marketing calendar across the year, tied to events, drops, partnerships and brand moments - CRM and lifecycle marketing, from acquisition through to retention - Paid media strategy and execution across social, search and any other channels that earn their place - Email and newsletter strategy, calendar and performance - Organic social distribution strategy, working closely with the brand and creative team on what gets pushed where - SEO and the marketing side of the website - Analytics, attribution and reporting, with a clear point of view on what's working and what isn't - Budget management for marketing spend What you won't own - Brand strategy, creative output, tone of voice and visual identity sit with the Head of Brand. - Commercial partnerships and sponsorships sit with our Commercial Director and Head of Partnerships. - You'll work closely with all of the above. Qualifications - 5 to 8 years in marketing, ideally with time in a challenger brand, DTC business, or culturally credible lifestyle brand where you've had to do everything yourself - A genuine operator. Someone who can build a paid campaign, write a CRM flow, brief a developer, read a dashboard and tell us what to do next - Deep golf literacy. You play, you watch, you know the players, the tours, the brands and the culture. This isn't a role where you can learn the audience on the job - Sharp judgement on what's on brand and what isn't. You'll be the second pair of eyes on a lot of work - Comfortable in a small team where you own outcomes, not just inputs - Fluent with the tools: Klaviyo or equivalent, Meta and Google ads, GA4, Shopify or similar, the usual analytics stack Engagement - Freelance, 3 to 6 months initially, with the intention to extend if it's working for both sides. - 5 days a week, full time. - Salary to be discussed on application.
Partnerships Account Manager Random Golf Club Location: Remote (with travel for events and partner activations) Reports to: Head of Partnerships About the Role The Partnerships Account Manager is responsible for managing and executing Random Golf Club’s brand partnerships after they are sold. This role ensures that partners receive exceptional service, integrations are delivered correctly across content and events, and relationships grow into long-term collaborations. The position allows the Head of Partnerships to focus on revenue generation and new partnership development, while the Account Manager ensures flawless execution, organization, and reporting for existing partners. This role sits at the intersection of partnerships, content, and events. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive in communication, and excited about building meaningful relationships with brands in the golf and outdoor industries. What You’ll Do Partner Relationship Management Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for brand partners once agreements are signed. Responsibilities include: - Maintaining consistent communication cadence with partners - Ensuring partners feel informed, supported, and confident in the partnership - Coordinating execution of partnership deliverables - Identifying opportunities to expand or extend partnerships Partnership Execution Ensure partner integrations are executed correctly across the Random Golf Club platform. This includes: - Content integrations across YouTube and social platforms - Event integrations including activations, signage, and brand presence - Commerce integrations including links, products, and promotions You will work closely with the following teams to ensure seamless execution: - Content - Events - Marketing - Operations Partner Reporting Provide clear reporting that demonstrates partnership value and performance. Responsibilities include: - Compiling monthly or quarterly partner reports - Delivering performance metrics such as views, reach, and impressions - Packaging white-label digital assets for partners - Tracking deliverables against partnership agreements Asset Management Maintain organized documentation and materials for brand partners. This includes: - Logo files - Brand guidelines - Activation instructions - Content assets The Account Manager will maintain centralized partner documentation to ensure the entire team can access the information needed for execution. Internal Coordination Act as the internal liaison between partnerships, content, and events teams. Responsibilities include: - Ensuring partner integrations are scheduled and delivered on time - Attending production planning meetings when partner integrations are involved - Communicating partner requirements clearly to internal teams What We’re Looking For Ideal candidates may come from backgrounds such as: - SDR or BDR roles at SaaS companies - Agency account management - Sports marketing coordination - Partnership or sponsorship coordination Key qualities include: - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent relationship management ability - Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment - Interest in golf, sports media, or brand partnerships Bonus points if you have experience in: - Sports media - Event marketing - Creator economy partnerships Typical Day-to-Day Tasks - Coordinate partner integrations across content and events - Gather and organize partner assets - Ensure brands appear correctly within content and activations - Package white-label assets for partners - Build partner performance reports Maintain strong and proactive partner relationships Compensation Base Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 Performance Incentive: $5,000 – $15,000 Incentives may be tied to: - Partner retention - Upsell revenue - Partner satisfaction Total Potential Compensation: $60,000 – $75,000 Why This Role Matters This role allows Random Golf Club to deliver exceptional partner experiences while scaling brand partnerships in a structured and organized way.
