Role Description To continue the strong European development and strengthen its team in Germany, RakutenTV Enterprise is looking for a Sales Manager, Media (m/f/d). You will be jointly responsible for building and developing viable business relationships with advertisers, agencies and trading desks with the aim of implementing digital marketing strategies across all channels. - Identification of decision-makers and budget managers within the client organization as well as their needs - Creation of relevant sales presentations and independent sales talks - Advising clients: media buyers in agencies and direct clients - Closing the sales cycle by signing the contract and coordinating the delivery of the products - Active participation in the implementation of strategy based on business intelligence (market development and competitor analysis) - Maintaining and being responsible for a relevant reporting system that documents sales progress - Conducting workshops with the advertisers together with the account manager team - Identifying areas for improvement and making proactive recommendations to the account manager teams Qualifications - 1-3 years of professional experience in media sales of video, TV, mobile or CTV solutions - Completed studies or comparable training - Good understanding of the value chain of the digital advertising industry - Very good analytical skills - Expertise in Programmatic Advertising - Contact network within the agencies in Germany - Focus on results - Excellent negotiation, sales, and presentation skills - Hands-on approach with can-do attitude; problem-solving-oriented; inventive; optimistic and positive, finding constructive and creative solutions - Fluent German required, very good English skills - Collaborative, inclusive and a true team player - High-level reporting and presentation skills - Excellent interpersonal skills, diplomatic, persuasive, strong negotiation skills Benefits - Responsibilities in a growing media environment (CTV) - An attractive career path - Competitive compensation - A host of benefits Company Description Rakuten Group Inc., headquartered in Tokyo, Japan (JASDAQ: 4755), comprises more than 70 mobile, e-commerce, digital content, communications and fintech companies worldwide.
