We are looking for a software developer with expertise in SaaS solution Web Development, who is an experienced software engineer in frontend and backend development. Role Responsibilities As part of our team, we’ll count on you to: - Design/Develop/Test/Integrate Web based microservices - Design/Develop/Test/Integrate APIs - Provide leadership, mentoring, and lessons learned w/ other developers - Work in a small adhoc team environment - Be able to work in an early-stage development environment - Provide clear and effective communication - Provide risk and mitigation strategies with development - Understand constraints driving best engineering solutions - Objective, tasking, and results focused Preferred Background Experience - 5-8 Years Professional Frontend development framework - 5-8 Years Professional Experience in Web & Software Development - SaaS solutions and related technologies - Developing and maintaining Production Enterprise SaaS application - API design and development using REST and/or GraphQL - AWS (Amplify, AppSync, Cognito, Lambda, Step, EventBridge) - Database Interfaces - Containers (Docker) - Cloud environments (AWS focus) - Version control systems (Git, GitLab) - UI/UX frontend design (Figma, Zeplin) - Security Best Practices - Confluence - Event driven architectures - Domain driven microservices - Experience working with a remote team 90% of the time - Agile/Small team early-stage startup type environment - Proficient in other languages Ruby, Java, Bash About Qwaltec Qwaltec is a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) that specializes in space systems operations.
