• Develop business with key customers in the assigned region to achieve sales and margin targets • Identify new business opportunities and closely coordinate with commercial and technical teams to develop customer-specific solutions that exceed expectations • Build and maintain sustainable relationships with relevant contacts at all levels — with both existing and prospective customers • Prepare customer presentations, quotations, commercial offers and value-selling concepts that demonstrate Quaker Houghton’s added value • Provide technically sound customer advice in close cooperation with the Product Application team to introduce new solutions • Closely align with Key Account Management to implement the account strategy and maximize business potential • Work with Customer Service and Technical Service to ensure high customer satisfaction • Regular reporting to management including analysis of sales targets, budgets and forecasts (CRM, Excel and other IT tools) • Attend technical conferences and industry events • Monitor competitor activities, industry trends and regional regulations and relay relevant market information to management and the KAM team
