Role Description The Copywriter will be a junior-to-mid-level role for someone who has strong writing instincts, a hunger to learn, and a genuine enthusiasm for using AI tools to work smarter and produce more. You'll write copy across a wide range of channels and formats — from social captions and product descriptions to email campaigns, video scripts, and long-form content — and you'll use Claude and other AI tools every day to help you do it faster and better. You'll work closely with the Creative Director and a designer, contributing to integrated campaigns while also owning the day-to-day copy needs that keep the brand moving. You're a strong editor as much as a writer — you know when something isn't landing and you know how to fix it. You care about voice, clarity, and getting the details right. Reporting to the VP, Head of Creative, you will work cross-functionally across acquisition marketing, member marketing, ecommerce, retail (online and in-store). Responsibilities - Brand & Campaigns - Write copy that brings the brand voice to life across every channel ensuring it feels consistent, engaging, and authentic. - Support brand campaigns, partnerships, and product launches with compelling headlines, taglines, and messaging. - Help maintain and evolve brand voice guidelines and messaging frameworks. - Performance & Acquisition - Write and iterate on copy for paid media ads, affiliate ads, ecomm, landing pages, and SEO/GEO content. - Develop email and SMS copy on a weekly cadence — subject lines, body copy, CTAs — optimized for engagement and conversion. - Assist in writing and editing copy for experiments and A/B tests across channels. - Social & Content - Write social copy across organic and paid channels that stops the scroll and fits the platform. - Draft and edit scripts for video content, YouTube, and third-party content partners. - Familiarity with social platform nuances across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. - Support PR copy needs on an ongoing basis. - Product & Ecommerce - Write product descriptions, feature callouts, and launch copy for new products, new colors, accessories, and collaborations. - Develop copy for packaging, retail materials, and in-store merchandising. - Write retail listing copy, including ongoing updates, optimizations, and promotional copy. - Member & CRM - Write ongoing member communications including email, content cards, and push notifications. - Contribute to onboarding and educational content that supports the member experience. Qualifications - 5+ years of copywriting experience, in-house or agency with a strong portfolio. - Excellent writing skills across a range of tones and formats — you can write a heartfelt brand moment and a punchy promotional email in the same afternoon. - Hands-on, daily use of Claude and AI writing tools is a must — not as a crutch, but as a genuine part of your writing process. - Comfortable with high volume and fast turnaround without losing quality or brand integrity. - Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects across multiple channels and deadlines simultaneously. - Comfortable working across Google Docs, project management tools (Asana, Notion, and others), and email platforms. - A team player who communicates clearly, takes feedback well, and asks good questions. - Low ego, high output — you care about the work, not the credit. - Passion for dogs is basically mandatory. Nice to Have - Experience writing for DTC, consumer products, or lifestyle brands. - Exposure to email marketing platforms. - Some experience with video script writing or content production. - Familiarity of SEO basics and writing for search, and interest in or knowledge of SEO/GEO content strategy is a plus. Benefits - Medical, Dental, and Vision plans. - Company-paid Long-Term Disability. - 401k with Company Match. - Paid Time Off. - Free Halo gear + Product Testing Opportunities. - Work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. - Be part of a mission-driven, dog-loving team. - We provide competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base salary, incentives, and benefits. - Final compensation is dependent on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Role Description Halo is looking for a versatile analytics manager who can grow with us. You'll move fluidly across domains — one week you might be deep in mobile product funnel analysis, the next you're untangling operations or logistics data. You'll be a go-to partner for stakeholders across the business, turning complex data into clear, actionable insights. This role is individual contributor to start, but we're looking for someone who's managed or mentored before (or is ready to) — as the team grows, so could the scope. Responsibilities - Reporting & Business Intelligence - Own reporting and dashboards across multiple business functions — product, operations, logistics, and more — ensuring decision-makers have timely, reliable visibility into performance. - Build and maintain clean, well-documented analyses that are trustworthy, reusable, and accessible to stakeholders across the org. - Report regularly on key metrics and surface actionable insights to leadership, translating data into narratives that drive decisions at every level. - Strategic Partnership & Insight Generation - Partner directly with stakeholders to answer hard questions, not just fulfill requests — proactively identifying opportunities and risks buried in the data. - Translate business objectives into analytical frameworks that support measurable outcomes across retention, growth, and operations. - Measurement Standards & Data Governance - Help define how we measure things — owning metric frameworks, definitions, and standards that create consistency and trust across the business. - Champion data quality and documentation practices that enable the broader team to build confidently on shared foundations. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus). - 5+ years of analytics experience spanning more than one domain (product, ops, finance, logistics, etc.). - Strong SQL skills — you can wrangle messy data independently and don't wait for a data engineer to unblock you. - Experience building dashboards and self-serve reporting (Sigma, Looker, Tableau, or similar); you have opinions about what makes a visualization work for an executive audience and aren't shy about saying so. - Proven ability to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders, including executives — you tell a story, not just report numbers. - Experience with subscription business models — MRR, churn, retention, LTV — and comfort navigating the edge cases that come with subscription data. - Comfortable operating in ambiguity — you can scope your own work and push projects forward without heavy direction. - Experience at a small or scaling company; you know how to do more with less. - Prior people management or mentorship experience, or a clear readiness to step into that role. Bonus Qualifications - Experience with mobile app analytics or product instrumentation. - Experience with subscription or e-commerce business models, including payment platforms (Stripe or similar). - Exposure to data pipeline or warehouse tooling (dbt, Fivetran, Snowflake, etc.). Benefits - We provide competitive pay and great benefits, including contribution to medical insurance and no-cost vision and dental insurance.
