Primera Engineers

• Support Project Managers and project teams with project coordination activities across Buildings projects • Assist in the design and implementation of training programs and support process documentation initiatives • Support project management functions including meeting coordination, schedule monitoring, milestone tracking, and report creation • Maintain project records and documentation to support efficient project delivery and compliance with project requirements • Collaborate with team members on risk investigation and analysis and assist with managing long-term risk registries

• assist Project Managers with project delivery • submittal of project deliverables, schedules, and work plans • facilitate filing of quality assurance documents (QAD) • verify drawing/specification sets are correct • prepare transmittal information and send out to client • audit QAD compliance for assigned projects • perform AutoCAD work as required • facilitate design change review meetings • facilitate construction administration activities • communicate directly with the client and Owner regarding status and issues on behalf of the Project Manager • work closely with discipline lead engineers/architects to communicate project information

• Responsible for designing and reviewing specific project components, including airport and airfield design, grading, drainage, pavement, roadway design, stormwater management and detention, and utilities, using standard engineering practices and techniques • Oversees and reviews work performed by others in the preparation of project deliverables, including reports, contract plans, specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications • Develops project scopes, budgets, and schedules • Manages projects to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards • Manages staff and subconsultants assigned to projects • Monitors team members’ adherence to Primera procedures and policies • Mentors and trains project staff members • Performs project-specific assignments as required • Manages client relationships by meeting with clients, regulators, and agencies to develop strong professional partnerships • Collaborates with the Department/Group Manager to market Primera’s services to existing and potential clients • Assists in the development of new business through client meetings and participation in promotional activities • Prepares project invoices and progress reports in accordance with client requirements • Develops marketing materials and proposals, including RFPs, RFQs, and SOQs • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Department/Group Manager

• Prepare drawings and permitting exhibits from engineering and/or field markups for designers and engineers • Coordinate CAD for projects and be responsible for initial drawing setup • Assist in file management including scanning, plotting, creating and updating project drawing lists

• Manage incoming customer requests for civil scope related to new or modified electrical service installations • Act as primary point of contact for civil coordination throughout the project lifecycle • Coordinate with customers, developers, contractors, municipalities, and ComEd internal teams • Track project milestones, deliverables, and schedules • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation in internal systems • Review civil construction drawings, site plans, grading plans, and utility layouts • Coordinate field walkdowns with engineering, design, and construction teams • Support evaluation of site conditions including access, easements, soil conditions, and constructability constraints • Review civil design elements such as trenching routes, duct bank layouts, pole locations, and restoration requirements • Identify site impacts and coordination needs with municipalities and other utilities • Coordinate permitting requirements, including municipal approvals and right-of-way access • Ensure all pre-construction requirements are met prior to mobilization • Schedule and coordinate construction activities with field leadership and contractors • Support coordination of utility locates and site preparation activities • Track material readiness and construction sequencing as needed • Ensure civil work complies with ComEd standards, municipal requirements, and applicable codes • Track project status, and schedule impacts throughout execution • Coordinate inspection scheduling with municipalities and field inspectors • Maintain documentation supporting compliance, permits, and approvals • Coordinate final inspections and field verification of completed civil scope • Ensure all civil deliverables are completed, documented, and approved • Support final project closeout and turnover to appropriate ComEd teams

• Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team delivering substation physical and protection & control designs for utilities and EPC partners • Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and client relationships throughout all phases • Review and guide deliverables to ensure technical quality and compliance with industry standards • Foster collaboration and drive a team culture focused on communication, accountability, and innovation • Support business development through proposal preparation and client engagement • Act as a trusted advisor and problem solver for clients and team members alike

• Lead and inspire a talented and multi-disciplinary team delivering protection & control designs for utilities and EPC partners • Provide strategic oversight for project resources, budgets, and client relationships • Guide engineers through complex transmission and distribution projects • Manage resources, performance, and development for a growing national substation group • Review and approve design packages, drawings, and specifications for technical excellence • Partner with leadership on business development and recruiting initiatives • Champion a culture of learning, innovation, collaboration and inclusion across the team

• lead large-scale design projects from concept through execution • ensure design quality, consistency, and alignment with client objectives • prepare and review design documentation • maintain project documentation including scoping documents and quality checklists • monitor and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle

• You’ll gain invaluable structural engineering experience • You’ll lead transmission design on large/complex projects and utilize design software such as PLS-CADD for line design • You’ll create design documents and drawings for new transmission line projects including specifications, plan and profile drawings, load trees, structure assemblies and details, stringing charts, foundation drawings, staking sheets, generating bills of materials, and applying field mark-ups of project as-built drawings • You’ll assign staff to projects, perform group resource leveling to accommodate changes in project workload, and meet project deliverable schedules • You’ll communicate and coordinate project activities with internal team members, build strong relationships and learn the importance of superior client service, and interface with vendors with the support of your supervisor • You’ll assist with Primera’s business development efforts
