Role Description The Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, counseling, and supportive services for a diverse population in a fast-paced Mental Health Rehabilitative Core Service Agency. - Conduct clinical assessments and create person-centered treatment plans - Provide evidence-based psychotherapy for clients who present with various concerns such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment disorders - Continually assess client situations and provide the proper ongoing treatments - Prepare discharge summaries - All other clinical tasks as assigned Qualifications - Must show the ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions - Ability to communicate with clients and to remain calm under stress - Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Positive interpersonal skills required - Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English is a plus but is not required - Bachelor’s degree (required) in Social Work, Counseling, or related field - Master’s degree (preferred) in Social Work, Counseling, or related field - Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) (required) - Must be familiar or willing to be trained on EMR systems - Two years minimum of direct-care clinical services with individuals with mental health diagnoses Requirements - 2-Step PPD - PA State Background Check - ChildLine Abuse Clearance - FBI Background Check - Mandated reporter certificate Company Description Preventive Measures, LLC is an outpatient psychiatric facility with multiple locations within the USA.
