Role Description Powur is looking for experienced solar sales professionals who know how to sell in California. This is a 100% commission, independent contractor role, not a salaried position. If you're a proven closer who wants to keep more of what you earn, this is built for you. - This is a 100% commission independent contractor position. - No base salary, no draws, and no guarantees; your income is entirely tied to your performance. - Sell residential solar in California, set your own schedule, and run your own pipeline. - Use Powur's AI-powered platform for proposals, site surveys, permitting, and project tracking. - Close deals virtually or in person, 100% remote-capable. - Access financing options typically reserved for large national companies. - Close deals for other sellers on the platform, splitting commission 50/50. - Build a team and unlock 6-level revenue-share overrides if you choose to scale. Qualifications - Has a track record of closing solar deals in California. - Is comfortable working as a 1099 independent contractor with no guaranteed income. - Wants to maximize take-home pay and is tired of sharing too much with their employer. - Can hit the ground running; training and support are offered, but starting from scratch is not desired. - New to solar but have a strong sales background? Certification through Powur University is available. Requirements - Experience in solar sales in California. - Ability to work independently as a contractor. - Strong sales background if new to solar. Benefits - Keep 70–80% of revenue on every deal. - Active reps typically earn $80,000–$150,000 in their first 12 months. - Selling even just one deal per month nets six figures. - Top performers earn $750K+ plus six-figure equity grants. - M1 milestone bonuses up to $2,500 per install milestone. - Equity stock options starting with your first install. - Vested equity that continues to grow over time.
