Role Description PetLab Co. is a world leader in the DTC pet supplement market with a 9-figure revenue, profitable and rapidly growing globally. In the world of performance marketing, a Creative Strategist is the bridge between the Media Buying team and the Creative team. Think of them as a data-driven storyteller. Their job is to ensure that every pixel and every word in an ad is designed to convert, based on actual performance data rather than gut feeling. This role sits at the intersection of creative thinking, data analysis, and growth marketing. You’ll partner closely with our Paid Media, Video Producers, Organic Social, and Influencer teams to develop high-performing ad creatives that scale customer acquisition and revenue. What You'll be Responsible For: - Data Analysis & Performance Auditing: - Spend time inside ad platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) identifying what’s working and why. - Analyze performance metrics such as Hook Rate, Hold Rate, CTR, CPA, and ROAS. - Identify winning creative patterns. - Conduct creative audits to identify customer pain points. - Translate performance data into clear creative insights and opportunities. - Creative Ideation & Scriptwriting: - Design the next creative tests based on data insights. - Concept development for campaigns and ad series. - Direct-response scriptwriting using proven frameworks. - Write high-impact hooks, body copy, and calls-to-action. - Storyboard content to maintain retention. - Develop creative angles aligned with DTC customer journeys. - Production Management & Creative Briefing: - Act as the director and translator between strategy and production. - Brief UGC creators and influencers. - Provide detailed production briefs for editors and creators. - Review and provide feedback on drafts. - Ensure alignment with performance best practices. - Maintain a library of high-performing assets. - Testing Strategy & Iteration: - Design and manage the creative testing roadmap. - Design structured A/B tests. - Iterate on winning ads by refining various elements. - Identify drop-off points in videos and optimize content. - Conduct competitor and market research. - Ensure ads remain native to each platform. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in creative strategy or performance creative roles. - Experience working in high-growth, paid social-led DTC brands. - Deep expertise in Meta and TikTok advertising ecosystems. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret performance data. - A portfolio of direct-response ad concepts, scripts, or campaigns. - A proven track record of driving revenue growth through paid creative. - Experience briefing or directing creators, influencers, or UGC production. - Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics. - Excellent communication skills. Role Description We're searching for a Senior Digital Content Producer who is as comfortable in front of the lens as they are behind it. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in executing our content strategy by serving as a primary face for our brand. You’ll film, edit, and star in content for platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Ideally, you are a dog owner who can feature your own pet in high-performing, relatable ad content. Qualifications - Highly comfortable and charismatic in front of the camera; ability to deliver scripts naturally and authentically. - Ideally owns a dog and is able to feature them in regular video content to demonstrate product benefits. - 3-5 years in DTC social content; experience producing high-performing social media content (Meta, TikTok, YouTube). - Experienced in managing content shoots with a focus on live-action. - Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro. - Exposure to direct response marketing in an e-commerce context. Requirements - Delivering highly innovative quality content. - Develop and star in User-Generated Content (UGC) that achieves high performance, demonstrating strong hooks and authentic audience appeal. - Effectively utilize your own dog (ideally) to create "day-in-the-life" and "product-in-use" content that resonates deeply with our community of pet parents. - Effectively manage and execute regular live-action content shoots, whether featuring yourself, actors, or customers. - Partner with Creative Strategists & Media Buyers to optimize creative based on performance data to ensure ad content delivers measurable results.
