Role Description The purpose of the IT Engineer role is to design, implement, maintain, and optimise IT systems that support organisational objectives and operational efficiency. Qualifications - Approximately 2-5 years of professional experience in IT engineering or a related domain. - Proven track record in configuring and maintaining IT systems and tools, with some hands-on project experience. - Solid understanding of security protocols, networking infrastructures, and database systems, plus exposure to scripting or automation. - Adept at explaining moderately complex technical issues to diverse audiences. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, combined with relevant industry certifications (e.g. ITIL, CompTIA, CCNA, or similar). - Proven ability to manage mid-level technical tasks independently and collaboratively. - Demonstrable experience in maintaining secure, performant systems. - Strong initiative in staying current with new technologies and best practices.
