Senior Content Marketing Manager

Role Description We're looking for a strategic, hands-on Senior Content Marketing Manager who can own content across the entire customer journey — from awareness to conversion to customer advocacy. This role is ideal for someone who loves storytelling, understands B2B SaaS marketing, and can create content that educates, engages, and drives pipeline. You'll work closely with leadership, sales, customer success, and product teams to shape Outbuild's voice and build content programs that elevate our brand and generate demand. Responsibilities - Content Strategy & Planning - Develop and maintain Outbuild's annual and quarterly content calendar aligned to pipeline and product launch goals. - Own the editorial strategy across blog, email, website, social media, and customer-facing assets. - Translate ICPs (ideal customer profiles) and buyer journeys into content that meets prospects at each stage of the funnel. - Define and enforce brand voice and content standards across all departments. - Content Creation & Production - Write, edit, and publish high-quality long-form content including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, landing pages, and email sequences. - Partner with the Director of Digital Marketing and Head of Marketing on campaign-level content strategy and messaging. - Collaborate with the Senior Graphic Designer to produce visually aligned content assets. - Manage and brief external content contributors or agencies as needed. - SEO & Performance - Lead organic search strategy including keyword research, content optimization, and backlink development. - Track and report on content performance metrics (traffic, engagement, MQLs, conversions) using analytics tools. - Use data to continuously refine content strategy and prioritize high-impact topics. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with Product Marketing to develop launch content, feature announcements, and competitive positioning. - Collaborate with Sales to produce enablement content including one-pagers, battle cards, and email templates. - Work with Customer Success to develop customer stories, testimonials, and retention-focused content. - Represent the marketing team in cross-departmental content initiatives. - Team & Process Leadership - Mentor Marketing Specialists and Associates on content best practices, writing quality, and editorial workflows. - Own the content review and approval process, maintaining quality and brand consistency. - Identify opportunities to build scalable content systems, templates, and workflows. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS. - Exceptional writing and storytelling skills. - Experience creating customer-facing content including case studies and thought leadership. - Strong understanding of social media and organic content growth. - Experience writing conversion-focused website and email copy. - Ability to manage multiple content initiatives independently. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. - Experience with video/content production workflows is a plus. - Construction technology, architecture, engineering, or industrial SaaS experience is a plus. Compensation The annual base salary range for this position is $110,000 – $140,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and location. This is a good faith estimate of the compensation we reasonably expect to pay at the time of hire. • Become a product expert who deeply understands Outbuild's platform, our customers' workflows, and the problems we solve • Create and present product demos for video content across social media, webinars, sales enablement, and marketing campaigns • Produce video content, including feature walkthroughs, customer stories, and product tutorials that showcase real-world value • Develop product messaging, positioning, and launch materials that translate features into customer benefits • Participate in industry conferences and events, demonstrating the product and engaging with customers and prospects • Build relationships with customers to understand their challenges, surface compelling use cases, and gather feedback for Product • Create case studies, blog posts, and sales collateral that demonstrate how Outbuild improves outcomes on construction projects • Work with Sales to develop product narratives, competitive positioning, and enablement materials • Track customer insights and market signals, feeding what you learn back into product strategy and messaging
