Business Development Manager

• Identify and target insurance brokers who are potential clients for CompScience solutions. • Develop relationships with those brokers with a goal of having them sell CompScience solutions. • Develop plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within a geographic territory. Execute on those plans. • Collaborate with underwriters to generate revenue with targeted brokers and agencies. • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients. • Collaborate with internal teams to smooth implementation and delivery of solutions to clients. • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at insurance brokerages. • Understand customer needs and requirements to effectively position our solutions and tailor proposals accordingly. • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
Senior Vice President – Underwriting

• Take full accountability for underwriting outcomes across multiple lines, segments, and channels. Jointly drive growth, profitability, and loss ratio management. • Define underwriting appetite, pricing, coverage standards, and referral thresholds. • Review high-impact and high-growth risks, ensuring decisions scale without sacrificing quality. • Partner with Data and Product teams to test new underwriting signals. • Design controlled experiments and move successful signals into standard underwriting rules. • Identify profitable growth opportunities and maintain underwriting speed at scale. • Partner strategically with Business Development to unlock expansion. • Mentor and grow underwriting managers and senior underwriters. • Build a culture of accountability, learning, and disciplined judgment. • Serve as a senior underwriting point of contact, embedding carrier guidelines and capacity into everyday decisions.
Channel Sales Manager, Captives – Risk Services

• Develop and manage relationships with captive managers and brokers • Identify and qualify opportunities within captive and broker accounts • Lead sales presentations and product demos to risk management and safety audiences • Own strategic account planning and pipeline development • Travel to conferences, broker offices, and client sites (~15% travel) • Coordinate with internal teams on pilot deployments and customer onboarding • Build a repeatable playbook for the captive/broker market segment
