Role Description This is a remote position. Opal is currently partnering with a top employer to find a bilingual Financial Planner (CFP, French/English) to take over a well-established book of business in Ontario. This role is designed for an experienced advisor who wants to focus on managing and growing client relationships, without the pressure of building a book from scratch. - Develop comprehensive financial plans covering investments, retirement, tax strategies, estate planning, education funding, and insurance needs. - Meet with clients to understand their goals, assess their financial situation, and provide tailored advice. - Design and recommend investment strategies aligned with clients’ risk tolerance and long-term objectives. - Conduct regular reviews of financial plans and portfolios, adjusting for life changes, market conditions, and evolving goals. - Ensure all recommendations comply with applicable financial regulations and industry standards. - Mentor junior financial planners and advisors. - Build and maintain long-term client relationships through trust, proactive communication, and ongoing support. Qualifications - Fully bilingual in French and English (required). - Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning. - CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation required. - Must be client-facing and based in Ontario.
