Role Description This is a remote position. As the business continues to expand its international footprint, we are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth across key markets. This is a broad, strategic commercial role that sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and long‑term business strategy. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across the UK, Europe, and the USA, while shaping the commercial direction of the organisation. Working directly with the Managing Director, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders across Operations, Quality, Marketing, and Technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of commercial initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Lead new business development activities across international markets, with a focus on high‑value pharmaceutical and sterile product opportunities. - Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision makers, industry partners, and global clients. - Develop and execute strategic commercial plans that align sales and marketing objectives. - Identify emerging market trends, competitors activity, and new product opportunities. - Represent the business at international conferences, exhibitions, and client meetings. - Work cross‑functionally with internal teams to support bids, proposals, and product positioning. - Provide commercial insight to support long‑term growth planning and strategic decision making. Qualifications - Proven experience in business development within pharmaceuticals, sterile products, or related life sciences sectors. - Strong understanding of regulated manufacturing environments and customer expectations. - A strategic mindset with the ability to bridge the gap between sales and marketing. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills. - Confidence operating at senior level and influencing key stakeholders. - Willingness and ability to travel internationally across the UK, Europe, and the USA. Role Description As Interim Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to maintain financial integrity and drive performance. Key Responsibilities: - Lead month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities. - Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. - Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and local regulations. - Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives and business planning. - Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes. - Support finance transformation projects and process improvements. - Mentor and guide junior finance team members.
