Role Description Oasis Health Ventures is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Chat Services Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate support to patients and customers through online chat platforms. You will assist with inquiries related to appointments, services, insurance, and general healthcare information, ensuring a seamless digital experience for our users. The successful candidate will possess excellent written communication skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to manage multiple chats efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Respond promptly and courteously to patient and customer inquiries via chat - Provide accurate information regarding services, appointments, insurance, and billing - Assist patients in scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments through chat - Document and update patient information accurately in electronic health systems - Escalate complex issues or complaints to appropriate team members or supervisors - Maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare privacy regulations - Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent and high-quality patient support - Manage multiple chat sessions simultaneously while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred - 1–2 years experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or telehealth setting - Excellent written communication and typing skills - Familiarity with healthcare terminology and patient service software - Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations efficiently - Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills - Proficiency with computers and chat platforms - Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards Preferred Skills - Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems - Knowledge of insurance procedures and billing - Ability to remain calm and patient when handling challenging situations Key Competencies - Clear and empathetic communication - Attention to detail - Customer-oriented mindset - Adaptability and time management Benefits - Competitive salary - Health insurance - Paid time off - Career growth opportunities - Flexible/remote work options
