Role Description The Senior Principal Level MSP Engineer is a hands-on technical leader responsible for delivering secure, compliant, and reliable IT services to NuView clients. This role operates at the Tier 3 / escalation level, supporting complex environments, mentoring engineers, and ensuring consistent execution of NuView’s technical standards. This position is delivery-focused, not managerial. The Senior Systems Engineer plays a critical role in solution execution, technical quality, client trust, and platform consistency, especially in regulated and security-sensitive environments. Key Responsibilities - Technical Delivery & Escalation Support - Serve as a senior escalation point for complex infrastructure, cloud, security, and compliance-related issues. - Design, implement, and support secure IT environments across Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoint, network, and security platforms. - Lead remediation and recovery efforts during incidents, outages, or security events. - Security & Compliance Execution - Implement and maintain controls aligned with frameworks such as HIPAA, NIST 800-171, CMMC, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2 (as applicable to client environments). - Support vulnerability remediation, hardening, MFA deployment, backup validation, and incident response activities. - Work closely with security leadership and vCISO resources to execute compliance-driven technical requirements. - Solution Implementation & Projects - Deliver client projects including migrations, security enhancements, cloud deployments, and infrastructure upgrades. - Ensure projects are executed according to NuView standards, timelines, and documentation requirements. - Participate in pre-project technical discovery and post-project validation. - HaloPSA & Operational Discipline - Maintain exemplary ticket hygiene and documentation within HaloPSA. - Accurately log time, work performed, configuration changes, and outcomes for all tickets and projects. - Adhere to “no ticket, no work” standards and support continuous process improvement. - Platform Standardization & Knowledge Sharing - Contribute to standardized configurations, runbooks, SOPs, and internal documentation. - Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and propose improvements to tooling or processes. - Mentor junior engineers on technical execution, documentation, and client interaction best practices. - Client Trust & Professionalism - Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients during escalations, projects, and security-related discussions. - Communicate clearly, professionally, and calmly — especially in high-pressure situations. - Represent NuView’s security-first mindset and commitment to excellence in every engagement. Qualifications - 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or MSP/MSSP environments. - Proven experience supporting security-conscious or regulated clients. - Strong technical background in: - Microsoft 365 & Azure - Windows Server & Active Directory - Networking (firewalls, switches, VPNs) - Endpoint security, backup, and recovery - Experience working within a PSA-driven service organization strongly preferred. - Ability to balance speed, security, and quality in client-facing environments. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant certifications such as: - Microsoft (Azure / M365) - Security+ / CISSP / CISM (or progress toward) - Vendor certifications relevant to NuView’s stack. The Role We're looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing team and help clients build scalable, reliable data infrastructure. You'll work across the modern data stack, designing pipelines, architecting warehouses, and enabling the analytical layer that our clients depend on. This is a high-impact, client-facing role that combines deep technical execution with strategic thinking. Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for clients across industries - Architect and optimize cloud data warehouse solutions, adapting to each client's stack, which may include Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Microsoft Fabric, or similar platforms - Lead data integration projects from source system to analytical layer, including scoping, delivery, and handoff - Work fluidly across a range of modern data tools and platforms as client engagements demand, picking up new technologies quickly and applying best practices regardless of the toolset - Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to ensure data is clean, reliable, and well-modeled - Champion data quality, testing, and observability best practices across client engagements - Produce and maintain clear technical documentation including pipeline architecture, data dictionaries, lineage maps, and runbooks so clients can understand and own their infrastructure long-term - Document engineering decisions, standards, and workflows in a way that supports knowledge transfer to both clients and junior team members - Research and evaluate new technologies and advocate for tooling investments that benefit the firm - Train and mentor junior team members on engineering standards, pipeline design, and best practices - Participate in client-facing communication, including requirements gathering and progress updates - Flex support when capacity allows: contribute to analyst-side deliverables such as Power BI dashboard development, ad-hoc reporting, or data visualization. Job Overview We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with a proven track record in managing data management and analytics projects. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in agile practices and a strong technical foundation in data integration, data warehousing, and visualization tools. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and client stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.
