About the role As a Marketing Senior Expert - Campaigns Lead, you will be a key driver of Nu's international expansion plans, leading end-to-end marketing campaigns that build our brand and grow our customer base across multiple regions. You will sit in the Global Expansion / Marketing & Growth team and focus on high-impact integrated campaigns, sponsorship activations and go-to-market execution for new markets. This is a hands-on senior expert role: you will both design strategy and personally execute priority workstreams across media, communications, brand, content, value proposition and sponsorships, while helping to shape and staff the future team. You will act as a discipline lead for Marketing within our international expansion plans, partnering closely with Product, Growth, local country teams and senior leadership. You will also be an AI champion for the function, pushing how we use AI to make marketing work 10x more productive and insightful. You'll be responsible for - Leading integrated marketing campaigns for our international expansion plans, from strategy to execution - combining brand, product marketing, media, content and partnerships to drive awareness, consideration and growth in priority markets. - Acting as Campaigns Lead for major launches and moments, owning the creative and media brief, orchestrating agencies and internal squads, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with clear success metrics. - Owning sponsorship strategy and activation, especially for flagship partnerships (e.g., premium sports properties), turning assets into meaningful, measurable brand and business impact across channels and markets. - Providing multi-disciplinary oversight across Media, Communications/Advertising, Brand, Value Proposition, SEO and Content, directly executing where needed and setting high craft standards for the team and partners. - Leading go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new market entries and key product launches, ensuring positioning, messaging and channel mix are tailored to local customer needs while consistent with Nu's global brand. - Running and evolving Brand Health and campaign measurement, translating data into clear insights and recommendations that influence regional strategies and investment decisions. - Partnering closely with local market teams, Product, Growth, and Global Marketing to share best practices, align roadmaps and manage complex stakeholder landscapes across geographies. - Acting as AI Transformation lead for Marketing, identifying and building AI-powered workflows and tools that reduce manual work and elevate creative and analytical quality (e.g., experimentation, content ops, insights automation). - Helping to build the future team: identifying capability gaps, supporting hiring and onboarding, and mentoring more junior marketers as the area scales. We are looking for a person who has Required - Professional Marketing experience (Senior Manager / Senior Expert level) in high-impact roles. - Deep, hands-on expertise across multiple marketing disciplines: Media, Communications/Advertising, Brand Strategy, Product Marketing / Value Proposition, GTM, SEO and Content. - Proven track record leading integrated campaigns and launches end-to-end, from insight and strategy to execution and post-mortem, in fast-paced digital or tech-driven environments. - Strong experience with sponsorships activation, from evaluating and negotiating opportunities to creative/platform strategy and measurement of impact. - Demonstrated experience with global brands and/or global expansion, ideally working with or within companies that operate across multiple countries and cultures. - Exceptionally strong stakeholder and executive management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and align diverse regional teams around a common strategy. - A deeply hands-on mindset: comfortable rolling up your sleeves to build decks, write briefs, review creatives, optimize campaigns and ship work directly while the team scales. - Fluency in English (written and spoken). Additional Portuguese and/or Spanish is a strong plus; French, German or Italian are nice to have. Nice to have - Exposure to crypto / blockchain / cross-border payments businesses (e.g., Coinbase, DollarApp/ARQ Finance) or adjacent fintechs. About the role As a SOx IT Specialist, you will be a senior individual contributor and subject-matter expert for IT controls over financial reporting, with strong autonomy and influence across multiple domains and countries.You will: - Own and lead the assessment of the company’s SOx IT control environment, focusing on Logical access management, Change management, IT operations, automated controls, IT-dependent manual controls, and cybersecurity. - Drive scoping and risk assessment of IT components (third‑party applications, internal services/microservices, automations, infrastructure, datasets, notebooks, etc.) that are relevant to ICFR, applying Nubank’s SOx IT scope methodology. - Perform and review walkthroughs and design assessments for ITGCs, IT-dependent controls, automatic controls, challenging control design, coverage of risks, and evidence quality. - Plan and execute Tests of Design (ToD) and Tests of Effectiveness (ToE) for IT controls. - Coordinate remediation and action plans with Engineering, InfoSec, IAM, and business teams, ensuring robust root-cause analysis, sustainable fixes, and timely closure of IT control deficiencies and audit findings. - Act as primary counterpart for external auditors and Internal Audit on SOx IT topics (scope, methodology, sampling, exceptions, deficiencies), supporting walkthroughs, evidence requests, and technical discussions. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of SOx IT methodology, templates, and guidelines (e.g., sampling, population completeness, IPE standards, quality review checklists). - Help design and challenge IT control automation and monitoring (e.g., control bots/Controlinhos, dashboards, alerts) to increase coverage and reduce manual effort and error risk. - Mentor and support junior analysts on ITGC concepts, testing techniques, documentation standards, and interaction with tech squads, raising the overall quality bar of the team. - Promote synergy and governance between SOx, Engineering, InfoSec, IAM, Controllership, and other stakeholders through routines, trainings, workshops, and forums focused on IT controls. Basic Qualifications - 6+ years of experience in IT Audit, IT Risk, IT Compliance, or SOx IT (e.g., Big 4, internal audit, financial institutions, fintechs, or tech companies). - Solid knowledge of SOx 404, PCAOB standards, COSO, and main IT control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST), especially as they relate to ICFR. - Proven hands-on experience with IT General Controls over: - Logical access (IAM, SSO/IdP, SoD, privileged access, user lifecycle); - Change management (code review, approvals, segregation of duties, emergency changes); - IT operations (job processing, interfaces, monitoring, incident/problem management). - Experience assessing IT controls in cloud and modern architectures (e.g., AWS, microservices, APIs, data platforms, CI/CD pipelines). - Experience with enterprise/SaaS applications relevant to financial reporting (e.g., ERP such as SAP/Oracle, HR/Payroll, Treasury, core banking/ledger, reconciliation tools). - Experience evaluating SOC 1 Type 2 reports, complementary user entity controls, and their impact on SOx. - Strong ability to analyze technical evidence (logs, configurations, scripts, SQL/queries, access listings) and connect it to control objectives and financial risks. - Excellent skills in structuring and documenting workpapers (narratives, flowcharts, RCMs, ToD/ToE, conclusions) in English. - Fluent English (written and spoken), able to lead discussions and defend positions with external auditors and global stakeholders. - Strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
