Role Description The Senior Functional Consultant provides advanced functional expertise within client delivery teams, leading complex analysis, solution design, and implementation activities across a defined workstream, functional area, or cross-process domain. The position translates business needs into practical, well-structured functional solutions that support client objectives and align with agreed delivery standards. This position works closely with senior stakeholders to: - Clarify complex or ambiguous requirements - Manage functional scope - Support decision-making - Ensure high-quality outcomes throughout the delivery lifecycle It also provides guidance to junior consultants, supports issue resolution, and takes end-to-end ownership of assigned functional areas to drive consistent, reliable, and value-focused delivery. Qualifications - 5-8 years of experience in functional consulting, business analysis, or solution delivery within client-facing project environments - Proven experience leading project activities and coordinating consultants, analysts, or cross-functional delivery teams - Strong background in gathering, analyzing, and documenting detailed business requirements and process flows - Experience translating business needs into functional solutions, system improvements, and implementation recommendations - Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and supporting projects through to successful completion - Exposure to proposal support, business development activities, and broader consulting practice contribution is an advantage - Experience working closely with technical teams across design, development, testing, and deployment activities Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Engineering, or a related field Competencies - Technical Excellence: - Functional analysis & requirements gathering - Solution design & process improvement - Backlog management & prioritization - Testing, QA & Defect management - Production support & issue resolution - Behavioral/Core: - Stakeholder management - Communication & facilitation - Problem solving & critical thinking - Leadership & mentoring - Collaboration & influencing - Digital & Culture: - AI tools & digital mindset - Cultural awareness & global mindset: works effectively with colleagues from different cultures, time zones, and communication styles.
