Role Description As a Therapy Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in representing Noctrix. You will work closely with patients and clinicians to provide an exceptional onboarding experience through personalized activation sessions, as well as proactive and reactive remote therapy support via phone and video calls, text, email, and chat. Your consultative approach will ensure the smooth and successful use of Nidra therapy. Additionally, you will capture clinical support needs, provide valuable feedback to the marketing, sales, and product development teams, and collaborate with clinicians and functional organizations to define additional training requirements. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely and reports to the leader of Customer Care. - Represent Noctrix in direct virtual patient interactions, including application training, product demonstrations, and proactive and reactive therapy support. - Serve as a consultant to clinicians and technicians during the implementation process and calibration sessions to ensure the smooth and effective integration of our product. - Capture therapy support needs and provide valuable feedback to the product management and development teams. - Collaborate with clinicians and functional organizations to recommend content for training courses and materials. - Maintain existing relationships with patients, as well as our clinical and business partners. - Accurately input and manage customer interactions in Salesforce to ensure accurate and up-to-date data capture for client relationship management. Qualifications - High school diploma required. - An associate or bachelor’s degree in biology or a health-related field is encouraged and preferred for many promotional opportunities. - Exceptional positive attitude, consistently demonstrating a willingness to go above and beyond in helping individuals navigate their challenges, while providing empathetic support and solutions with patience and understanding. - Proven customer service excellence, with a strong ability to empathize and effectively communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical users, ensuring a positive and supportive experience for patients seeking therapy or technical assistance. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an outstanding ability to communicate and collaborate effectively. - Ability to understand, convey, coach, and teach others about the clinical aspects and technical use of the product. - Ability to diagnose complex customer issues cross-functionally with minimal guidance, using new technologies. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong sense of ownership and accountability. - Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities in a complex, challenging environment. - Previous experience in the sleep or neuromodulation industries is considered a plus. - Experience with Salesforce is considered a plus. Requirements - This is a full-time, remote position with the potential for up to 10% travel during the first year. Benefits - Base Pay: $55,000 to $75,000 per year + bonus + stock options.
Role Description Noctrix Health is redefining the treatment of chronic neurological disorders with clinically validated therapeutic wearables. We are seeking an experienced and innovative Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and development of electrical systems supporting our next-generation therapeutic wearable devices. In this role, you will drive hardware innovation while ensuring designs meet the highest standards for safety, reliability, and performance within regulated medical device environments. The Principal Electrical Engineer will lead full lifecycle hardware development—from concept through manufacturing transfer—while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered products. This role reports to the SVP, Product and plays a critical role in shaping the technical direction of Noctrix Health’s hardware platforms. Responsibilities: - Serve as the technical authority for electrical architecture and hardware design across Noctrix’s therapeutic wearable platforms. - Lead hands-on design and development of complex analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for medical device systems, including schematic capture, PCB layout oversight, and component selection. - Architect robust electrical systems that meet the performance, reliability, and safety requirements of prescription medical devices operating in FDA-regulated environments. - Drive full lifecycle hardware development—from early concept and feasibility through detailed design, verification, validation, and transfer to manufacturing. - Perform and guide detailed electrical engineering analysis including signal integrity, power management design, noise mitigation, and system-level performance optimization. - Lead rigorous troubleshooting and root cause investigations for electrical and system-level issues during development, verification testing, and manufacturing. - Develop, review, and maintain high-quality design documentation in compliance with medical device quality systems, including design inputs/outputs, risk analysis, verification protocols, and traceability artifacts. - Ensure electrical designs support regulatory compliance requirements including IEC 60601 safety, EMC, and applicable medical device standards. - Work closely with firmware and systems teams to develop integrated hardware solutions that deliver reliable therapeutic performance and exceptional patient experience. - Mentor engineers and contribute to raising the technical depth and engineering rigor of the hardware team. - Support manufacturing partners and internal teams in design for manufacturability (DFM), testability (DFT), and scale-up to production. - Contribute to the identification and development of new electrical technologies, architectures, and hardware platforms aligned with Noctrix’s long-term product roadmap. Qualifications - B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline (M.S. preferred). - Minimum 15 years of experience designing and developing complex electrical systems, preferably in medical devices or other regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, automotive, industrial safety systems). - Deep expertise in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design, including schematic capture, PCB layout guidance, and component selection. - Strong proficiency with Altium Designer or similar professional PCB design tools. - Demonstrated experience architecting and delivering battery-powered embedded systems, including power management, DC-DC conversion, Li-ion battery management, and charging circuitry. - Experience designing systems using microcontrollers and embedded firmware interfaces, with working knowledge of C-based firmware development. - Strong understanding of common embedded communication protocols including USB, I²C, SPI, UART, and BLE. - Experience performing electrical analysis and simulation, including signal integrity, power integrity, and noise mitigation in compact electronic systems. - Experience designing for and supporting EMC/EMI compliance and testing, including familiarity with IEC 60601, EN 61326, or comparable standards. - Demonstrated experience delivering hardware–software integrated products from early concept through verification, validation, and commercialization. - Experience working within regulated development environments, including familiarity with FDA design controls, design history files (DHF), and traceable engineering documentation. - Exceptional hands-on engineering capability, with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and system-level issues. - Ability to produce clear, rigorous engineering documentation including design analysis, test reports, verification protocols, and design rationale. - Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams including firmware, mechanical engineering, product management, clinical, and manufacturing teams. - Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both engineering peers and executive leadership. Requirements - M.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (preferred). - Experience developing wearable medical devices or compact battery-powered consumer electronics. - Experience designing low-power embedded systems for continuous or wearable operation. - Experience working within medical device quality systems and regulated product development processes (e.g., FDA design controls, ISO 13485). - Demonstrated success leading complex hardware programs from early development through commercialization. - Experience collaborating with contract manufacturers and external development partners during product development and manufacturing scale-up.
