• Partnering primarily with New Profit’s Build and Catalyze Investment Selection Managers, the Associate will support project management of New Profit’s grant-making cycles and activities • drive coordination and consistency across grant-making cycles and support the ongoing improvement of our grant-making practices, processes, and tools • provide day-to-day operational support related to team operations, resourcing, budgeting, and planning • develop draft project plans, attend meetings, take notes, and create slides and other content for meetings • own certain shared cross-cycle processes, including managing and analyzing data during the application review process

• Manage a small portfolio of investments - likely 4+ Build and/or Transform investments • Work directly with the social entrepreneur (typically the CEO of the grantee-partner) • Assume four critical roles relative to each Build and Transform Investment in the portfolio • Align with and support the social entrepreneur in achieving their vision for impact • Share New Profit’s perspective, insights, and pattern recognition • Lead key projects in partnership with the CEO and Senior Team • Coach the social entrepreneur • Support and govern the organization as outlined in Board Charter • Monitor and support the organization on an ongoing basis • Review funding applications; lead screening and diligence for prospective investments • Contribute knowledge and insights to learning projects
