Position Summary The Development & Partnerships Manager is responsible for advancing the NATA Foundation’s fundraising and engagement efforts through strategic donor cultivation, corporate partnerships, and revenue-generating events. This role focuses primarily on securing unrestricted funding to support the NATA Foundation’s mission and long-term sustainability. Working in close collaboration with the Executive Director, this position plays a key role in developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies, supporting board engagement in development efforts, and enhancing donor stewardship and organizational visibility. The Development & Partnerships Manager reports directly to the Executive Director. Primary Responsibilities 1. Fundraising & Development - In partnership with the Executive Director, identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors, corporate sponsors, and programmatic partners to increase unrestricted revenue. - Collaborate with the Executive Director and VP of Development to design and implement comprehensive development strategies, including 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year plans. - Support and strengthen board and volunteer engagement in fundraising through training, tools and resources, and strategic opportunities. - Serve as staff liaison to the Development Committee and District Relations Committee; attend monthly NATA Foundation Board Meetings and support additional development-related committees and workgroups as assigned. - Partner with district leaders to support localized fundraising initiatives, including ideation, planning, and administrative coordination. - Coordinate all fundraising activities associated with the NATA annual symposium, including event planning, sponsorship sales, logistics, and volunteer management. - Lead the planning and execution of the NATA Foundation’s annual online silent auction, including item procurement, sponsorships, platform management, fulfillment, and volunteer coordination. - Support additional fundraising campaigns and initiatives (e.g., district events, holiday campaigns, and other special projects). - Develop and distribute donor communications, including solicitations, acknowledgments, and impact reports. - Enhance and maintain donor stewardship efforts, including recognition programs, website donor listings, tribute gifts, and annual tax acknowledgments. 2. Marketing & Communications - Collaborate with NATA Foundation staff to support and execute integrated marketing strategies that advance fundraising and organizational awareness. - Assist in the development and management of content across social media platforms, ensuring alignment with NATA Foundation messaging and priorities. - In partnership with the Executive Manager: - Maintain and update NATA Foundation website content (WordPress). - Coordinate content submissions for NATA communication channels (e.g., NATA News, Range of Motion, and other outlets). - Provide marketing support and materials for district communications, meetings, and reports. - Develop promotional materials for fundraising campaigns, events, and the NATA Foundation’s presence at convention using platforms such as Canva or similar tools. - Design and distribute surveys related to fundraising, engagement, and organizational initiatives (e.g., SurveyMonkey). - Manage the NATA Foundation’s exhibit booth at the NATA annual symposium, including setup, teardown, and volunteer coordination. 3. Organizational Engagement - Represent the NATA Foundation in NATA staff meetings and collaborate cross-functionally to align efforts and maximize impact. - Serve as an ambassador for the NATA Foundation, promoting its mission, programs, and funding priorities to internal and external stakeholders. 4. Additional Responsibilities - Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director to support the NATA Foundation’s strategic priorities and operational needs. Qualifications Required Qualifications - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, including staff, volunteers, donors, and partners. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom). - Willingness to work occasionally early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed. Preferred Qualifications - Minimum of 2 years of experience in fundraising, customer service, volunteer relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience with fundraising and marketing tools, including platforms such as GiveSmart and Nimble (or similar donation platforms), Salesforce (or other CRM/database systems), Hubspot, Monday.com, WordPress, Canva (or similar design tools), SurveyMonkey, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube), and scheduling tools (e.g., Later, ClickUp). - Experience supporting fundraising events, sponsorship development, or donor engagement strategies. Work Environment & Expectations - This position may be 100% remote for candidates residing outside the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area (more than 30 miles from the office). - For candidates residing within the DFW area (within 30 miles of the office), this position is primarily remote, with occasional in-person responsibilities as needed. - Ability to travel up to 5% for business-related purposes, including meetings and events. - Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing competing priorities. - Must be a collaborative, proactive team player with a solutions-oriented mindset. The NATA is seeking an Education Design Manager with at least three years of instructional design experience. The Education Design Manager is responsible for designing, developing and managing high-quality learning experiences across NATA’s educational ecosystem. This role leads the creation of engaging online, blended and in-person learning products using instructional design best practices, adult learning principles and advanced e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, and other interactive media platforms. The manager works collaboratively with subject matter experts (SMEs), committees, vendors, and cross-functional staff to build innovative and compliant educational offerings including but not limited to courses, microcredentials, exam preparation tools, blended sessions and professional development pathways. The position plays a central role in ensuring content accuracy, accessibility and alignment with BOC standards, while contributing strategically to the evolution of NATA’s learning portfolio. Key Responsibilities Instructional Design & Content Development - Design and produce interactive, adult-learning-focused education using Articulate Storyline, Rise, and similar authoring tools. - Develop high-quality online courses, that may include original offerings, repurposed event content and microlearning experiences. - Create instructional materials such as storyboards, scripts, assessments, facilitator guides and learner resources. - Apply instructional design methodologies (e.g. ADDIE) and use Bloom’s Taxonomy to develop and ensure measurable learning outcomes. - Build interactive elements such as branching scenarios, simulations, knowledge checks and case-based learning activities. - Incorporate accessibility standards and inclusive design practices across all learning products. - Partner with SMEs to transform technical or clinical content into engaging, learner-centered instructional experiences. - Capture, edit, and integrate video, audio and multimedia elements into courses. - Collaborate across the Knowledge Initiatives team, stepping in to support projects and high-priority tasks beyond primary assignments as needed. Learning Product Strategy & Innovation - Support ideation and prototyping of new learning products. - Stay current with emerging e-learning technologies, AI tools, interactive media and adult learning trends to continually enhance NATA’s offerings. - Collaborate with internal teams to design and package educational resources (e.g., publications, checklists, practice standards, toolkits, and AI-enabled learning supports) using instructional design and adult learning principles. - Recommend new features, tools or design approaches to improve learner engagement, retention and completion. Assessment & Quality Assurance - Review and revise content to ensure alignment with accreditation standards, educational best practices, and NATA policies. - Conduct continuous improvement cycles based on learner data, evaluations and engagement metrics. Committee & SME Collaboration - Work with committees to support the development, review and improvement of educational offerings. - Prepare agendas, materials and follow-up summaries when needed to support project-based committee work. Project & Vendor Management - Manage timelines, deliverables and content workflows for assigned educational products. - Oversee relationships with relevant service providers (captioning, editing, multimedia contractors) supporting instructional projects. - Monitor budgets for assigned projects to ensure cost-effective development. Convention & Event Support - Developer-conference blended learning modules and interactive components for convention programming as assigned. - Support creation of on-demand sessions, speaker evaluations, and digital learning pathways. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, Curriculum & Instruction or related field. - 3–5+ years of experience designing learning for adults; professional association or healthcare education experience preferred. - Demonstrated expertise in Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, SCORM/xAPI and e-learning production. - Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies. - Experience building and editing multimedia learning components (video, audio, scenarios, assessments). - Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail and deadlines. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in translating SME content into clear, learner-friendly instruction. - Experience collaborating with committees, SMEs or project teams. - Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital badging systems (in alignment with LMS responsibilities a plus. Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with athletic training practice, education, or professional standards a plus. - Experience in a professional association, nonprofit, or continuing education environment. - Working knowledge of BOC standards or continuing education compliance requirements. Experience with video editing tools (e.g., Camtasia, Premiere). Knowledge of accessibility standards (508/WCAG). - Experience using AI-assisted design tools or adaptive learning technologies.
