• Record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger in Xero • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes • Process vendor payments and customer invoicing • Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts monthly • Maintain fixed asset schedules and track depreciation • Ensure accurate classification of revenue and expenses across multiple states and contracts • Support monthly close processes • Prepare monthly financial summaries and supporting schedules • Assist with year-end close and audit preparation • Maintain organized digital documentation and supporting records • Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve issues • Support sales tax tracking and filings as needed • Assist with payroll coordination and reporting • Ensure financial practices align with internal controls and company policy • Support documentation related to government and school contracts
