Role Description - The primary function of the Workday Finance Consultant is implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the Workday Finance system. - Design, build and implement strategies that can help enhance business performance. - Resolve production issues as well as guiding the team in solving incidents/problems. - Support maintenance of Workday Finance configuration, including setup and functional configuration. - Maintain, test, and implement new functionality within Workday finance modules. - Manage business application implementations, changes, enhancements, and process improvements. - Configure new user/role-based security group for access management. - Maintain partnership with relevant stakeholders including Business, Information Technology counterparts and Vendors. - Provide healthcare industry perspective for customer business requirements and mentor junior team members. - Assist the integration consulting team in helping to architect integrations between Workday and external vendor solutions. - Ad hoc reporting as required. - Review software updates and releases and assist with testing as required. - Support upgrades, interfaces to other core business systems, interfaces to external systems, and helping to define and support IT processes. - Ensure all configuration updates follow proper procedures and workflow in order to comply with internal audit requirements. - Work closely with end users to prioritize and manage completion of support tickets. Role Description The Discovery Engineer is responsible for running the discovery tool in the environment, typically during project scoping. The Transformation Package Architect conducts interviews and builds move packages. Discovery Engineer Responsibilities - Understand the installation and operation of the BMC Helix Discovery. - Have knowledge of networking concepts, including: - Subnetting - VLANs - Firewalls - Knowledge of VMware to assist admins in the installation and configuration of the BMC Appliance. - Operate the appliance, set up scan schedules, and troubleshoot access issues. - Knowledge of asset reporting on the BMC Discovery tool, including writing and updating queries to extract asset data. - Understand ITIL processes to help customers create change processes for scanning. - Basic SQL and Excel knowledge for importing data and running reports. Transformation Package Architect Responsibilities - Basic application infrastructure knowledge, including different types of application architectures: - 2 tier - 3 tier - Web applications - Web services - Thin client - Thick client - Understanding of networking, IP port binding, and application communications. - Experience conducting interview-style meetings with application stakeholders to discover applications in a customer environment. - Intermediate Excel and SQL skills. - Ability to analyze gathered data to build migration packages. Qualifications - 15 years of experience. - Experience with virtual server migration and transition of hypervisor server infrastructure. - Experience with cloud workloads and VM migration tools.
