• Lead and execute proactive PR and media relations activities across the DACH region • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with journalists, editors, producers, and media outlets across German-speaking energy, business, and financial media • Identify and proactively pitch news stories, commentary opportunities, expert interviews, and thought leadership angles to relevant media • Develop and manage media outreach strategies around market developments, research, reports, events, and company initiatives • Draft, adapt, and distribute press releases and media materials in German and English • Monitor media trends and identify opportunities to strengthen Montel’s visibility and market positioning within the DACH energy sector • Support reactive communications activities related to market developments and industry issues where required • Work closely with Chief Analyst Tobias Federico and other Montel experts to strengthen their visibility and positioning within the European energy market • Secure speaking opportunities, media interviews, conference participation, podcast appearances, webinars, and industry commentary placements • Develop supporting materials including talking points, briefing documents, presentations, opinion pieces, and commentary articles • Coordinate with event organisers, journalists, and industry stakeholders to maximise external engagement opportunities • Support social media visibility activities linked to thought leadership and expert positioning • Create and edit specialist communications materials including commentary articles, blog posts, presentations, white papers, reports, and case studies • Adapt international communication materials to the tone, style, and expectations of German-speaking audiences • Review and refine specialist content from analysts and market experts to ensure clarity, consistency, and strong external messaging • Support integrated communications campaigns in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Editorial, and Events teams • Contribute to broader digital communications initiatives, particularly around content marketing and audience engagement
