• Develop, maintain, and update BIM models in Revit and related platforms to support construction planning and execution • Assist with model coordination, clash detection, and constructability reviews in coordination with design and construction teams • Support project teams with model-based problem solving and visualization • Collaborate with project managers, schedulers, superintendents, and designers to align BIM deliverables with project needs • Prepare model views, animations, and visualizations for internal reviews, client presentations, and construction planning meetings • Support BIM execution plans (BEPs) and model standards across projects • Maintain model accuracy, organization, and data integrity in accordance with established BIM standards • Assist with model handoffs, file management, and documentation • Stay current on BIM workflows, tools
• Lead the electrical design and coordination of commercial, healthcare, and industrial MEP projects from concept through construction administration. • Develop complete electrical construction documents including medium- and low-voltage power distribution, lighting, grounding, low-voltage, and emergency power systems. • Develop single-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and electrical room layouts. • Perform electrical load calculations, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, arc flash studies, and equipment sizing. • Design branch power, lighting, emergency power, and lighting control systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards. • Coordinate electrical systems with mechanical, plumbing, structural, architectural, and civil disciplines for coordinated project delivery. • Conduct site surveys, field investigations, and existing conditions assessments. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and drafting/design staff. • Attend client meetings, design coordination meetings, and construction progress meetings. • Evaluate contractor submittals, RFIs, change orders, and shop drawings for technical compliance. • Provide construction administration support including site observations, punch lists, and issue resolution. • Develop project specifications, basis of design narratives, and technical reports. • Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, Visual Lighting, and other engineering software for design and analysis. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget objectives. • Collaborate with multi-discipline project team of internal and external architects and engineers to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
• Project management functions include scope responsibilities, client management, scheduling, and financials. • Lead and manage projects from planning through design and construction. • Lead project team meetings and report project status to executive management. • Complete internal peer reviews and provide input in multi-discipline page turns, across all offices, to assist in the development of a comprehensive design. • Perform page turns prior to all major project deliverables. • Work closely with subconsultants and department design managers. • Assist in developing client capture plans and pursuit plans, proposals, and other business development and client engagement activities. • Develop and enhance client relationships, serve as the primary company contact, and deliver quality projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client. • Administer relevant aspects of a formal quality program. • Marketing and business development support to include the identification of potential business opportunities. • Work with the leadership team to develop fees on complex projects. • Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Responsible for execution of assigned tasks and preparation of drawings and specifications from initial concept through bid documents and construction administration. • Support mechanical design on multiple projects, working based off established priorities. • Accountable for technical quality of engineering tasks on assigned projects. • Support the development of the project specific technical reports, calculations, construction drawings and technical specifications. • Exercise judgement, utilize technical engineering practices and techniques in the evaluation and resolution of problems when encountered. • Participate in project design and coordination meetings. • Responsible for communication with all other disciplines to ensure incorporation of all information into project requirements. • CA effort includes engineering site visitation, field report documentation, submittal review, response to project RFI’s, and review of mechanical change order requests along with coordination with client, contractors, and subcontractors on assigned projects. • Conduct mechanical field surveys of existing conditions and prepare field reporting. • Collaborate and fully coordinate with multi-discipline project team of internal and external architects and engineers.
