Role Description Senior Implementation Consultant for an Occupational Health & Hygiene Management System used by various industries (mining, construction, manufacturing, food processing, motor manufacturing). - 100% remote work from home with travelling to clients as requested (head office is based in Centrion). - Mandatory: Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable car. - Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in implementing Enterprise Business Systems. - Clean ITC/credit record and no criminal record. Qualifications - Matric plus IT Degree huge advantage (B-Eng Industrial Engineer / BCom IT/BSc IT) or specific ICT courses related to projects and systems implementations. - Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in implementing Enterprise Business Systems. Requirements - Solid knowledge and skills to perform SQL coding for: - Selects, updates, joins - Scripts - SQL views - Query analysis - Data migration scripts - Stored procedures - Triggers - Provide technical specifications for implementation. - Understand, follow and implement various customer change control processes. - Testing (System testing, data testing & process testing). Benefits - Salary is market-related and negotiable depending on the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. - Includes a basic salary plus Group Scheme (Unemployment insurance, life insurance and disability fund). - Medical Aid and Retirement Fund is not paid by the company (for candidate’s own account). - Includes standard sick leave, study leave, compassionate leave and 20 days annual leave. - Equipment and expenses to perform your work will be provided by the company, including: - Notebook - Connectivity and mobile allowance for being away from home - Travelling to customers - Accommodation and subsistence when on site Travelling involved - Expected to travel to customers either by road or by air depending on distance. - Most clients are based in South Africa with possibility of cross-border travel to African countries. - Most travels are in-and-out daily and constitute on average a round-trip of 300km. - Further distances of round-trip 600km require stay-over. - Instances do occur where stay is required for a week. - During project phases, overnight stays are generally from Monday to Thursday during training and system go-live phases. - There is connectivity to most customers. Support can be done remotely. - Travelling is necessary for face-to-face customer communication, upgrades, implementations, etc. Occasional after-hours work - Many system upgrades occur after hours, requiring occasional after-hours work.
