Candidates must have strong computer skills, be able to troubleshoot & help patients join the visit electronically. Candidates must be bilingual English/Spanish and located in the state of Florida to be considered for this position. Experience doing televisits is required to be considered for this position. Healow experience preferred. Starting Salary: $20.00 an hour. Normal hours of operation are Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Activities include: - Performing care management functions on-site and/or telephonically as the need arises. - Maintaining compliance with HIPAA, HRS, and OSHA standards. - Observing strict confidentiality standards when dealing with patients and patient information. - Answering incoming calls and providing resolution to those calls related to appointments, clinical or referral questions, medical records, or billing inquiries. - Promoting patient self-management utilizing basic medical knowledge, experience, and skills to ensure appropriate utilization of resources and quality outcomes. Qualifications - LSCSW, LPN, Medical Assistant and/or Certified Nurse Assistant certification/licensure as per State of Florida or Front desk experience a minimum of 2+ years. - Knowledge of medical practice and excellent computer skills are required. - Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and written in English and Spanish. - Ability to demonstrate positive customer service skills. Role Description The Virtual Cardiologist provides remote, patient-centered cardiovascular care, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of heart-related conditions. This role evaluates moderately complex to complex clinical scenarios and applies clinical expertise to deliver high-quality care in a virtual environment. - Deliver virtual consultations to assess, diagnose, and manage cardiovascular conditions - Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical evidence - Collaborate with primary care providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care - Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., ECGs, echocardiograms, lab work) - Prescribe medications and recommend therapies in alignment with current clinical guidelines - Provide follow-up care and monitor patient outcomes through virtual platforms Qualifications - Active, unrestricted medical license in the applicable state(s) - Board Certification in Cardiology - Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in cardiology practice - Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms - Knowledge of evidence-based cardiovascular care guidelines Requirements - Must meet all state licensure requirements for practicing physicians - This is a patient-facing role and participation in the TB (tuberculosis) screening program is required upon hire Benefits - Predictable weekday schedules - Voluntary after-hours call with additional compensation available for those who elect to participate
