Role Description We are looking for a GTM & Sales Development Intern to help build the early top-of-funnel growth engine for MATI Labs. This role focuses on prospecting, outreach, and relationship building with founders and leadership teams at B2B SaaS and service companies. The goal is to start meaningful conversations and generate qualified meetings for the MATI Labs team. This is a high ownership role where you will help shape the early GTM motion of an AI venture studio. Core Responsibilities - ICP Research & Prospect Identification: - Work with the founder to understand our Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) - Identify target companies across B2B SaaS and service industries - Build structured lists of founders, CEOs, operators, and product leaders - Research companies that may benefit from launching AI-driven products - LinkedIn Outreach & Relationship Building: - Execute targeted outreach campaigns on LinkedIn - Send personalized connection requests and messages - Build rapport with founders and operators through thoughtful engagement - Follow up consistently to nurture conversations - Outbound Pipeline Development: - Support outbound email outreach to selected prospects - Initiate conversations with potential clients through structured outreach - Qualify early conversations to identify strong opportunities - Help convert conversations into booked discovery calls or strategy sessions - GTM Process Improvement: - Track outreach activity and responses - Help improve messaging and outreach scripts - Identify patterns in responses and refine targeting - Contribute ideas to improve pipeline generation Qualifications - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Comfortable reaching out to new people and initiating conversations - Strong attention to detail and organization - Self-starter mindset with ability to operate independently - Curiosity about startups, AI, and venture building - Comfortable with outreach and rejection-heavy workflows Requirements - Nice to Have (Not Required): - Interest in B2B sales, startups, or venture studios - Familiarity with LinkedIn prospecting - Exposure to outbound sales or business development - Interest in artificial intelligence and emerging technology Compensation This role is commission-based. Interns will earn commission on deals that originate from the conversations they generate and help move into signed engagements.
