Role Description Summer High School Credit Retrieval Paraprofessionals @MGHS - Reports to: Administrator on site - Location: LAP, Title I, McKinney-Vento, Foster Care - Salary: Position hourly rate will be paid at the current hourly rate of successful candidate(s) rate of pay - All positions are dependent upon student enrollment. - Employment Status: Non-continuing positions from June 22, 2026 - July 16, 2026 - Classes will run Monday through Thursday. - 5.0 Hours per day (8-1pm or 9-2pm) Essential Job Functions: - Work under the direction of the administrator in charge of summer school. - Work under the direction of teachers if assigned to support students in a class. - May be responsible for: - Assisting with phone calls home. - Collecting/monitoring data on student progress and/or attendance. - Assisting teachers with student accommodations per their IEP or 504 plans. - Assist student individually or in small groups with work completion. - Other duties as regularly assigned to a paraprofessional position or as assigned by administration. Qualifications - Current SEIU 10 member - Previous experience with summer school is preferred. - Previous experience with Multi-language learners is preferred. - Previous experience working with students of diversity, cultural differences and differentiated learning needs preferred. - Valid 1st Aid/CPR Card - Must have completed all district required training.
