Philanthropy CRM Specialist - (FT) - Toronto, ON Toronto, Ontario Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing, the Philanthropy CRM Specialist is responsible for supporting the effective use of the Salesforce Philanthropy CRM and related databases across the Philanthropy & Partnerships team and as needed, the broader organization. This role ensures accurate data, timely reporting, and reliable business support to enable fundraising performance, leadership decision-making, and campaign execution. This role works closely with the IT Digital Product & Platforms team (who maintain, optimize, and enhance Salesforce as a broader core enterprise platform), to translate fundraising needs into scalable technical solutions. Responsibilities CRM Support & Administration Within the broader Salesforce enterprise platform, serve as the primary CRM (Salesforce) administrator and subject matter expert for the Philanthropy team. Provide the team with day-to-day end-user support including issues triage, troubleshooting, onboarding, and data analysis. Maintain and enforce Philanthropy and CRM (Salesforce) team data standards, workflows, documentation, including standard operating procedures, data protocols, and governance guidelines. Manage Philanthropy team user access and permission requests in coordination with IT Data Management, Reporting, and Analytics Design reports and dashboards to provide valuable insights and analytics to the team, supporting fundraising performance, KPIs, and leadership reporting Deliver recurring and ad hoc data extracts and data imports for Philanthropy and other internal stakeholders. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency through regular audits, validation processes, and correction actions across the Philanthropy CRM and other digital fundraising platforms. Support financial reconciliation processes and reporting requirements in collaboration with Finance. Campaign & Fundraising Enablement Support Salesforce readiness for the comprehensive campaign, including donor pipelines, moves management, proposals, and stewardship tracking. Provide the team with expertise in using: CRM to enhance donor relationships and improve engagement strategies for leadership giving, mass marketing, and digital fundraising CRM tools to support the planning and execution of fundraising events Cross-Functional & Platform Collaboration Partner closely with IT to manage system enhancements, integrations, releases, and governance. Contribute to enterprise Salesforce initiatives as the Philanthropy subject matter expert. Coordinate with external vendors or consultants on Philanthropy related CRM (Salesforce) initiatives. Translate Philanthropy business needs into clear technical requirements and collaborate on solution design and implementation. Training & Continuous Improvement Develop and maintain Philanthropy team’s CRM (Salesforce) training materials, user guides, and change communications. Support onboarding and ongoing training of Philanthropy staff Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and system efficiency. Contribute to ongoing system optimization as MODC grows and evolves Stay current on Salesforce releases, non-profit CRM and data best practices, and the evolving fundraising sector. Key Areas of Impact This role directly enables: Staff CRM onboarding and adoption Fundraising performance and campaign execution Accurate and timely leadership and Board reporting Data-driven decision-making System reliability and user confidence Alignment between philanthropy, IT, digital, and finance functions Qualifications and experience 3 to 5+ years of proven experience as a CRM analyst or administrator, preferably Salesforce. Demonstrated experience in data management, analysis, and dashboard creation. Experience in project management and proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively to support multiple projects and deliver results within deadlines. Experience in supporting fundraising and donor development. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, data transformation, and validation. Understanding of the CRM (ideally Salesforce) data models, objects, relationships, workflows, and reporting is a great asset. Attributes for Success Highly organized and detail oriented. The opportunity We are hiring for one remote Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist for a full-time contractual position. Responsibilities - Accept referral and review the client plan/documentation as provided by the referral source, where applicable - Provide services virtually (ie. via Teams/Zoom video meetings) to adults who have disabilities and are challenged by employment barriers. - Assist individuals with disabilities to identify realistic employment options through vocational testing, assessment and exploration - Conduct transferable skills analysis and labour market research - Provide job placement services including job development, coordination of on the job supports, job site analysis and job accommodation - Provide employment and motivational counseling - Case manage services to ensure timely and cost effective service delivery - Complete required service reports - Achieve quality service standards for client satisfaction, timely delivery of service and employment outcomes - Some travel may be required Qualifications and experience - Eligible to obtain Return to Work Disability Management (RTWDM) designation, CVRP, or equivalent; relevant experience will also be considered - Bachelors degree or diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation, Disability Management or Social Sciences (ie Psychology/Sociology etc) preferred OR diploma &/or certificate in Vocational Rehabilitation, Career Development Practice, Disability Management or Life Care Planning - Minimum of three years experience working in Vocational Rehabilitation with people with disabilities - Extensive knowledge of private sector and labor market trends - Sensitivity to issues/barriers that people with disabilities experience - Excellent written & verbal communication and customer service skills - Bilingual (French/English) is an asset - Well developed time management, organization and teamwork skills - Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work well under pressure - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe software - Ability to document, maintain records and assist in reports Salary: $56,918 per year Questions about working at March of Dimes Canada?
