Role Description LMCU is looking for a Mortgage Processing Team Lead to support mortgage processing operations through effective pipeline management, team guidance, training support, and process improvement initiatives. This role partners closely with processing leadership to ensure loan files move efficiently, service standards are met, and compliance expectations are upheld. This is a fully remote position, with exceptions for select internal meetings, training sessions, or business needs that may require periodic in-person attendance. - Support and guide mortgage processors by answering questions and assisting with loan, system, and process-related needs, including escalations, priority requests, and staging support. - Assist processing management with pipeline management by monitoring reports, helping prioritize work, and ensuring timely actions to meet cycle time, production, member satisfaction, and compliance goals. - Provide ongoing training and coaching support for new hires and assist with training related to new or updated processes in partnership with the training team. - Collaborate with processing leadership and cross-functional partners by participating in meetings such as bulletin update calls, partnership meetings, and pipeline review discussions. - As needed based on staffing and loan volume, manage a small personal mortgage pipeline while meeting all pipeline management expectations. - Adhere to and champion our core values of curious minds, collaborative hearts, and continuous excellence. Qualifications - Experience: Three to five years of mortgage industry experience, including hands-on mortgage loan processing experience. - Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. - Mortgage Knowledge: Strong understanding of mortgage processing workflows, systems, documentation, and timelines. - Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy and tact are essential. This role involves regular interaction with internal partners and external contacts to share information, provide updates, and offer guidance on routine matters. Communication is typically concise and task-focused. - Organizational Skills: Ability to manage competing priorities, support team needs, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. - Compliance Awareness: Working knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations and internal mortgage policies and procedures. Role Description The Symitar Programmer role is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of Symitar core processing applications and related software systems. This role will work independently or as part of a team to design, develop, and deploy solutions that meet the business requirements of the credit union in using Symitar. - Design, develop, test, and implement Symitar PowerOn. - Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for system enhancements and optimizations. - Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in Symitar applications. - Document technical designs, processes, and procedures. - Adhere to and champion our core values of curious minds, collaborative hearts, and continuous excellence. Senior Mortgage Processor - Float

The Senior Mortgage Processor - Float position is responsible for supporting the Mortgage Processing team as a whole. This role will provide coverage as needed to ensure that mortgage loan applications continue moving forward and close on time. This role will maintain close contact with the borrower, real estate agent, mortgage loan originator, and mortgage underwriter through the entire loan process on all loans assigned. Additional tasks and duties would be assigned based on capacity and needs of the business, which may include support and assistance to other processors in the processing of their file(s). Reviews underwriting decisions, prepares decision letters, and works with applicants to obtain any additional documents needed for final approval when filling in for other processors who are off work or based on business needs. Works with outside vendors to obtain appraisals and title documents in a timely manner while also staying in contact with the borrower and internal partners in order to complete the loan process. Communicates with all stakeholders regarding the loan process, providing excellent customer service at all times for both internal and external partners. Processes more complex mortgage loan applications, including, but not limited to, conventional, government, bond/DPA, and new construction. Reviews credit reports, income and asset documentation, and confirms all documentation meets requirements to move forward with an underwriting decision. Finalizes the loan processing stage by preparing loans for submission to the Closing Department. This includes, but is not limited to, obtaining homeowner's insurance, payoffs, and coordination with the Title Department as well as internal partners in setting closing dates. Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
