Events Intern

• Assist with recruitment calls for Liver Life Walk and implementation of multi-week virtual walk programming • Assist with implementing a promotional plan for Liver Life Walk (both on and offline) • Assist with auction solicitation and additional logistic needs for the annual National Legacy Gala event • Assist with implementing an ongoing recruitment and communications plan for the Liver Life Challenge endurance program • Research and maintain the database used for online event marketing purposes (online calendar listings, press releases, etc.) • Assist with online research and outreach of potential event sponsors (in-kind, cash, etc.) Outreach may include cold calls. • Research best practices being implemented by other non-profits for national walk, endurance, and culinary events • Assist with customer service inquiries • Department administrative duties as needed
National Manager, Email Marketing

• The National Manager, Email Marketing will lead our email marketing initiatives with an emphasis on growing, engaging, and retaining our email audience to drive measurable increases in fundraising revenue, recurring giving, and donor engagement • Plan, build, and deploy all outbound fundraising, cultivation, and stewardship emails working in partnership with key ALF departments • Design, build, and optimize lifecycle automation (welcome, nurture, reactivation, recurring donor, event flows) to increase LTV and retention • Maintain a master content calendar to coordinate cross-functional needs (events, development, programs, research, advocacy) • Develop scalable list acquisition strategies (lead magnets, paid/organic partnerships, event capture, website optimization) to grow qualified subscribers • Manage audience segmentation and personalization strategies to deliver relevant, timely messages • Review content and creative assets with an eye for conversion optimization, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness • Use A/B and multivariate testing for subject lines, content, calls-to-action, send times, and segmentation to maximize engagement and conversions • Own performance reporting and translate campaign data into clear optimization roadmaps that improve revenue per subscriber and list health • Collaborate with digital engagement team to align messaging and improve user journeys across channels • Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements • Serve as the internal subject-matter expert for email marketing best practices • Proofread emails for clarity, grammar and spelling • Ensure mobile-friendly email templates.
Marketing Intern

The Marketing Intern will support the Public Affairs Department in its marketing and communication efforts. Assist with content creation for digital channels, including patient stories, advocacy campaigns, recipes, and liver health messaging. Assist with implementing a promotional plan for new content. Assist in creating new marketing templates. Assist with minor video editing using ALF software. Create Top 5 or Top 10 educational lists for patients using existing content from the ALF website. Create a social media cheat sheet for patients and advocates and assist with developing social media toolkits. Review ALF’s YouTube library to identify content for posts and placement on LF.org. Review press clips daily to track ALF media coverage. Assist with submission of calendar listings for Liver Life Walk events held in 20+ states.
