Role Description The Community Outreach & Candidate Engagement Intern will support efforts to raise awareness of our programs and help build a strong pipeline of prospective Candidates. This role will assist with community outreach, relationship-building, event coordination, marketing campaigns, and direct engagement with prospective participants and referral partners. Location: Remote Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM – 4 PM Key Responsibilities - Assist with outreach to prospective Candidates through email, phone, social media, and partner referrals. - Help respond to program inquiries and schedule informational conversations. - Support Candidate follow-up efforts and communication tracking. - Help maintain an organized outreach pipeline. - Research potential referral partners, organizations, schools, and agencies. - Assist with outreach to community stakeholders. - Help coordinate relationship-building efforts with partners. - Support partner follow-up and communication. - Assist in planning and promoting Virtual information sessions. - Help with coordination of Candidate meetups. - Support the team with Community outreach events. - Help manage coordination and attendee communications. - Assist with outreach campaigns across email, social media, Partner communications, and Recruitment messaging. - Help draft promotional content. - Track campaign performance and engagement metrics. - Research new state markets and referral networks. - Identify potential outreach opportunities. - Participate in business development activities to support program expansion and sustainability. - Other duties and projects assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in education, social work, workforce development, technology, or a related field; OR equivalent work experience. - Strong communication and people skills. - Highly organized and detail oriented. - Comfortable engaging with people professionally, on the phone, in person, and by digital communication. - Proactive with strong initiative. - Experience with outreach, events, social media, or relationship-building (Preferred). - Familiarity with CRM systems, spreadsheets, or project management tools (Preferred).
