Role Description Our API is the backbone of everything Latitude offers — server provisioning, network management, billing, and more. It's a Ruby on Rails application with Go services, and it needs to keep up with an accelerating roadmap. - Build and maintain the core API that customers, SDKs, Terraform provider, and internal systems depend on - Work with our platform architect and lead backend engineer on design and implementation - Contribute to the developer-facing surface: REST APIs, webhooks, SDK compatibility - Own reliability of the services you build Qualifications - 5+ years backend engineering - Strong Ruby on Rails, Python or Go (ideally both) - Experience designing and building REST APIs at scale - Relational databases, background jobs, distributed systems fundamentals - You care about API design as a craft — our customers are developers and they notice Benefits - Contractor (PJ) status - Paid Time Off - Competitive Compensation - Wellhub (formerly Gympass) - Annual Bonus based on company and team performance - Flexible work hours - Opportunities for professional growth and development Company Description At Latitude.sh, you’ll be part of a lean, agile team where your work truly matters. Senior Site Reliability Engineer

• Continuously improve Latitude.sh’s platform reliability and performance • Design, build, and maintain tools to automate operational tasks and incident response • Implement and improve observability solutions, including monitoring, alerting, and tracing • Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to design scalable and resilient systems • Participate in on-call rotations and lead post-incident reviews with a focus on learning • Develop and document processes and runbooks that ensure operational excellence • Contribute to SLOs/SLIs definition and reliability metrics adoption across teams
