Role Description Kraken Robotics is currently recruiting for a Director, Enterprise Systems. This is a remote friendly position with preference given to Ontario, Nova Scotia, or UK-based candidates. Responsibilities - Strategy & Ownership - Develop and execute a multi-year enterprise systems strategy aligned with organizational goals, scalability, and integration priorities. - Establish and enforce a clear enterprise systems ownership model, including governance frameworks, RACI, decision-making authority, and alignment across business stakeholders. - Ensure enterprise systems operate as a cohesive ecosystem rather than fragmented or siloed platforms. - Systems Portfolio Management - Own the full lifecycle of enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HCM, HSEQ and related platforms), including selection, implementation, optimization, and decommissioning. - Define and maintain system roadmaps aligned to business priorities and operational requirements. - Rationalize the enterprise systems landscape to eliminate duplication, improve capability, and reduce cost. - Integration & Enterprise Architecture - Define and enforce enterprise integration standards, architecture patterns, and data flows across all systems. - Ensure seamless interoperability between core platforms and identity systems. - Drive the elimination of data silos through structured integrations and standardized design. - Data Governance & Management - Establish and enforce enterprise data governance standards, including ownership, stewardship, and quality controls. - Define and manage core data domains, including customers, suppliers, employees, and assets. - Ensure the integrity, consistency, and accessibility of data across all enterprise systems. - Delivery & Change Management - Oversee the delivery of enterprise system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. - Ensure predictable delivery through structured prioritization, planning, and execution. - Drive adoption of enterprise systems, processes, and workflows through effective change management, stakeholder engagement, and clear communication. - Vendor & Financial Management - Manage relationships with enterprise software vendors and implementation partners, ensuring strong collaboration and alignment. - Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and performance management activities. - Own the enterprise systems budget, including licensing, implementation, and optimization costs. - Risk, Security & Compliance - Partner with Information Security to ensure enterprise systems meet security, regulatory, and compliance requirements. - Ensure enterprise systems comply with global data privacy, residency, and sovereignty requirements, and align with regional regulatory obligations across operating jurisdictions. - Identify and mitigate risks related to data integrity, system access, and operational continuity. - Support audit and compliance activities related to enterprise systems and data governance. - Leadership & Team Development - Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Enterprise Systems team. - Define clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability within the function. - Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the Enterprise Systems function. Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in enterprise systems, IT, or business applications leadership roles. - Proven experience leading enterprise CRM, ERP, and HCM platforms in complex environments. - Experience with NetSuite is required. - Experience with Salesforce and/or Rippling, a plus. - Experience implementing or operating enterprise integration platforms (iPaaS) in complex environments. - Proven track record leading enterprise-wide systems transformations. - Strong background in systems integration, data governance, and enterprise architecture. - Experience managing global, multi-system environments and cross-functional stakeholders. - Demonstrated success delivering large-scale system implementations and transformations.
Kraken Robotics is currently recruiting for an Executive Assistant to join our team in Dartmouth, NS or in select remote locations. The Executive Assistant provides high level administrative support to a group of senior executives spread across several geographic locations primarily in North America. They act as a strategic partner to boost executive team cohesion, effectiveness and productivity. Roles and Responsibilities - Overseeing all incoming and outgoing communications for executives, including emails, phone calls, reports, and internal & external correspondence. - Creating, editing and producing professional documents, such as reports, meeting notes, emails, letters, presentations, and reports. - Managing multiple executives’ calendars, including adding events, scheduling/rescheduling appointments and providing daily briefings. - Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external partners seeking time with the executives, including vendors, colleagues, clients, and customers. - Conducting research and creating briefing documents on various topics based on the needs of the executive team. - Managing travel schedules and bookings for multiple executives using dedicated agents and travel tools. - Planning and organizing virtual and in person events and meetings both on company facilities and at partner locations when used. Includes booking meeting spaces, organizing refreshments, ensuring supplies and collateral are available, room set up/clean up, and ensuring follow up actions and documents are provided. - Organizing, maintaining, printing, distributing and storing important information and documents. Qualifications and Experience - Post secondary diploma in a business administration or related field - 7 years’ experience in an executive level business support/administrative role supporting multiple geographically distributed partners - Outstanding time management and organizational skills in a demanding fast-paced environment - Strategic thinking skills combined with the ability to solve problems, anticipate the executives’ needs, and be solution-oriented, proactively alerting the executives of potential risks - Agility and flexibility in response to changing priorities and needs with proactive follow-through - Ability to conduct research and create reports or presentations - Expert MS Office skills with significant experience in preparing polished and professional documents - Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to organize complex data and patterns - Adaptable with an innate ability to learn quickly - Superior communication skills with strong ability to built rapport with stakeholders of all levels
