Role Description We have several openings for a Social Media intern on our Growth team! The ideal candidate is a self-starter who greatly enjoys social media and internet culture. You'll have an opportunity to be directly involved in the Fizz launch process at colleges across the country and gain exposure to a fast-moving social media startup environment. This is an hourly, paid, contract internship. Open to applicants in the following states: California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Washington DC, and Wisconsin. This is a remote position, and will start in late July. Responsibilities - Support and execute app launches at colleges across the US, working closely with the Fizz growth team - Manage and monitor Fizz-branded Instagram accounts tied to school launches - Monitor the health of launched communities by tracking key engagement metrics and post volume - Attend individual and team meetings, providing regular progress updates to the Fizz team - Collaborate with team members to share insights and improve launch processes Qualifications - Current college student over the age of 18 with a solid grasp on the Fizz product - Strong understanding of Instagram and general social media etiquette required - Strong written and grammar skills - Background in Marketing or Communications is appreciated but not required - Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team Requirements - Fizz is committed to a policy of Equal Employment Opportunity and will not discriminate against an applicant, candidate, or employee on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, physical or mental disability, medical condition, marital/domestic partner status, military or veteran status, genetic information or any other legally-recognized protected basis under federal, state or local laws, regulations or ordinances.
