About the team: Bubble focuses on building web applications, and our top request from users is to support native iOS and Android apps. We have a small team working on this, and the mobile product is currently in private beta. We're seeking a Staff Engineer to drive technical development from beta to a fully developed product. This involves expanding our web editor to include mobile app creation, setting up infrastructure for deploying apps to the iOS and Google Play stores, and developing a React Native runtime that works with Bubble’s backend. This is a key initiative for 2025, opening up a new market that will significantly impact our business. In this role you’ll: Drive design and implementation of our Mobile application builder. Architect deployment pipelines for seamless publishing to the Apple App Store and Google Play, integrating with Bubble’s existing infrastructure. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and support teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience across web and mobile. Mentor and coach engineers to improve their technical skills and leadership. Partner directly with executive leadership to define roadmaps, inform and commit to priorities, and execute effectively. About you: 8+ years of industry experience as a software engineer, preferably at high-growth startups Exposure to building with React Native (expertise preferred, but not required!) About the Editor team: As part of the team working on Bubble’s core product, the Bubble Editor, you will help enhance our drag-and-drop interface that empowers users to build and design their applications. Our current focus includes modernizing the developer interface, reimagining the user experience for building out databases, and leveraging AI to provide users with contextual support. About the Core Developer Experience team: The Core Developer Experience (DX) Pod is a new team dedicated to improving the productivity, quality, and satisfaction of engineers working on Bubble’s core product and monolith. Our mission is to modernize the developer environment, reduce friction in day-to-day workflows, and unlock sustainable long-term velocity for the entire Core org. We focus on the pre-deployment developer experience, with an emphasis on frontend-heavy improvements in the near term. Our work includes upgrading tooling and libraries, migrating off deprecated frameworks, strengthening support for our internal design system, speeding up testing and bundling, and addressing technical debt that slows down product delivery. Some initiatives we drive directly, while others involve building standards, frameworks, and example implementations that empower other Core teams to adopt best practices. By enabling engineers to work faster and with more confidence, the DX Pod creates leverage across the organization and ensures that Bubble’s engineering culture can scale as our product and customer base grow. About the role: As a Senior Software Engineer on the Developer Experience Pod, you’ll lead technical projects that improve how engineers build, test, and ship code at Bubble. You’ll take ownership of complex initiatives, from shaping technical designs through execution, and ensure they deliver measurable improvements to developer velocity, performance, or satisfaction. You’ll work closely with the pod’s technical lead and engineering manager to prioritize initiatives, and collaborate with other Core teams to roll out changes that scale beyond the pod itself. This role is hands-on but also highly collaborative: you’ll mentor teammates, set standards for high-quality code and maintainable architectures, and help establish best practices that raise the bar across Core engineering. As a Senior Software Engineer for CoreDX, you’ll focus on: Migrating off legacy frameworks and introducing modern frontend tooling Upgrading shared libraries and improving support for our internal design system Reducing test suite runtime and improving reliability of developer-facing tests Optimizing the local development loop, including build, bundling, and hot reload times Investigating and resolving sources of frontend performance regressions in the Editor Defining standards and building frameworks that other Core teams can adopt to increase consistency and speed About you: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a history of delivering high-impact technical projects Strong proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (TypeScript, SolidJS/React, etc.) and the ability to work confidently across the stack Deep experience with developer tooling — build systems, bundlers, testing frameworks, package managers, and CI/CD pipelines — and a passion for improving how engineers work day to day Proven ability to modernize large, complex codebases, including migrating frameworks, upgrading dependencies, and designing for long-term maintainability Experience organizing and leading projects that span multiple engineers, ensuring alignment, execution, and measurable outcomes Strong problem-solving skills, balancing pragmatic short-term improvements with strategic, scalable solutions Collaborative and clear communicator who partners effectively across teams and mentors engineers at different levels Adaptable and curious — you proactively identify inefficiencies, dig into root causes, and design solutions that scale beyond your own team Our tech stack: Frontend: Typescript, SolidJS Backend: Typescript, Node.js, Rust, Redis, Postgres, TimescaleDB Infrastructure: AWS - CDK / Terraform / Lambda, Kafka, ECS, Typescript, Elastic Compensation: We offer competitive compensation aligned to tier one markets. • Develop and Implement Medical Marketing plans and executions to meet brand’s objectives - manage medical activations via brand integrations, media plans, personal and non-personal medical communication, and digital channels. Own/strategize B2B HCP CRM (email marketing) initiatives and other HCP digital touchpoints. • Bring clinical relevance, impactful medical sales support materials, e.g. Core Visual Aids, poster and publication execution, and integrated digital impact by confidently communicating Bubble’s formulations, highlighting clinical benefits, ingredients, and outcomes. • Manage the field sales team CRM system including cycle call planning, CRM utilization, CRM analysis/metrics, field sales team bonus payout. • Manage e-detailing initiatives including developing leads from conferences into recommenders, executing virtual detailing and patient sampling programs in non called-on territories • Contribute to long-term brand strategy development for existing & new categories, including collaboration to identify opportunities with Dermatologists, Pediatricians, and other target HCPs in disease state areas and clinical data to support brand growth and profitable success • Lead strategy and scientific messaging at medical conferences, industry events, and professional meetings • Collaborate cross-functionally to share learnings, insights, and best practices across the team • Leverage CRM tools to track activity, analyze performance data, and lead modeling exercises, forecasting, budgeting and execution of the professional sampling plans for direct-to-HCP and Dermatology Sales team distributions
