• Leverage mastery-level knowledge of a competing enterprise survey platform to quickly achieve expert proficiency in IntelliSurvey. • Identify opportunities to re-create, streamline, or improve competitor workflows within IntelliSurvey. • Build surveys that structure data to align with conventions familiar to migrated clients. • Develop reusable, exemplar IntelliSurvey content for plug-and-play use. • Partner with Product teams to highlight migration challenges and recommend ecosystem improvements. • Provide proactive guidance and support to clients adjusting to IntelliSurvey’s environment, anticipating potential migration-related issues before they arise. • Manage small and mid-sized survey projects from bid review through launch, fieldwork, and delivery. • Review and approve bids and project plans within PM scope and oversight limits. • Program surveys, coordinate internal QA resources, and conduct thorough testing and verification. • Oversee fielding activities, ensuring careful quota management and minimizing sample waste. • Communicate project updates, risks, and changes clearly to clients and internal teams. • Collaborate with Senior Project Managers and other internal stakeholders on large or complex projects. • Follow established coding, programming, and communication conventions while continually improving understanding of the “why” behind them. • Assist in testing new platform features, identifying bugs, and submitting detailed tickets. • Stay current on release notes and adopt updated standards and best practices.
• Drive new business development through your network, referrals, industry relationships, and proactive outreach to build a strong sales pipeline. • Identify, qualify, and close new client opportunities while expanding relationships within existing accounts. • Build trusted partnerships with executive-level decision makers and serve as the primary strategic contact for key clients. • Develop and execute strategic account plans that drive revenue growth, client retention, and long-term partnership success. • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities by understanding client objectives and recommending IntelliSurvey's full-service research and technology solutions. • Collaborate with internal teams—including Sales, Marketing, Product, Research Operations, and Delivery—to develop customized proposals, presentations, and client solutions. • Lead contract negotiations and contribute to pricing strategies and proposal development. • Ensure successful project delivery by partnering closely with internal teams and proactively managing client expectations. • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts, account activity, and opportunity tracking within the CRM. • Mentor and support Account Managers, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and a high-performing team culture.

Our platform simplifies complex research challenges, and we continue to innovate and evolve our software with a focus on performance, usability, and flexibility. We are seeking a Back-End Software Engineer I to help design, develop, and enhance industry-leading survey software used to collect data through online and mobile platforms. In this role, you will build scalable back-end systems and services that support high-performance applications and reliable data collection. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex technical challenges, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating with a team to deliver efficient, user-friendly software solutions. Salary Range - $75,000 to $100,000 plus bonus What You'll Do - Develop and maintain back-end components and services used by IntelliSurvey's platform - Write clean, efficient, and well documented code using object-oriented Perl (with Moose) - Work with PostgreSQL database - Collaborate with front-end engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders - Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and assist with Tier 2 escalations - Contribute to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines - Use Git and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Crucible, Fisheye) for development workflows - Work in Linux-based environments - Continuously improve system performance and scalability What We're Looking For Education & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent exp. - 2-4 years of professional software development experience - Experience with backend languages such as Perl (preferred) or Python (2 plus years) - Willingness to learn and work with Modern Perl - Experience with navigating and managing Linux systems using the command line - Interest in learning Rust - Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines - Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases - Experience working in Linux environments - Familiarity with Git and Agile tools such as JIRA - Understanding of object-oriented programming and scalable software architecture - Strong problem-solving and communication skills, self-starter - Ability to work effectively in a distributed team Why You'll Love Working Here - 100 percent Remote or Hybrid if local to Irvine, CA.
