Role Description We are looking to recruit an experienced engineer for our growing service division. We provide central London's creative sector with the highest level of support and technology to help them produce some of the world's finest creative work. The products we work with range from sophisticated colour managed workflow solutions to studio level printers and office multi-functional devices (MFDs). The job is a real mix of mechanical and electrical engineering, IT integration and client handling skills. - Help in all aspects of the service division, wherever you can. - Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment, to ensure optimum performance, and prevent future issues. - Respond promptly to client requests for field visits, troubleshooting issues and rectifying faults. - Provide remote assistance by diagnosing and rectifying faults via phone and remote support apps. - Install and integrate systems, offering pre-sales support to deliver the best solution, and logistics planning of installing hardware and software. - Ensure clients' data/configurations are backed up and up to date, gaining knowledge of best approaches to restore this information. - Learn colour management and ensure equipment is producing colour accurately, utilising software and tools to manage colour across devices, operating systems, and applications. - Communicate with clients on a social, as well as professional level to sustain and grow business. Qualifications - Proven experience on either the Xerox or Canon range of devices, up to light production level. - Some Fiery experience or alternative software RIPs. - Knowledge of all aspects of electro-mechanical diagnosis and repair. - Understanding of the science of colour printing and colour management. - Strong client-handling skills. - Expertise in either connectivity, managed networks or IT sales. - Expertise in either Managed Print, AV or security is desirable. - Understanding of outreach campaigns. - Strong understanding of HubSpot for opportunity management, pipeline & performance reporting. - Knowledge of Cyber Security and IT solutions with an emphasis on cloud architecture. - Familiarity with Proptech - MSI Capable.
