Role Description The Primary Care MD will provide direct patient care to pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. This responsibility includes: - Provision of and attention to the care of major and minor illnesses - Long range issues of health and disease - Needs for specialty consultation Receives administrative support from a Practice Manager. Instill the IMS mission, vision, and values in the work performed. - Assess patient needs and arrange for specialty referrals, diagnostic and in-patient care - Document patient information and visit information into IMS' Electronic Health Record in an accurate and timely manner - Provide patients and family members with counseling and education regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and need for follow up as appropriate during each patient visit - Verify and document that the patient understands diagnosis, treatment, and follow up recommendations - Provide consultation to nurse clinicians and nurse practitioners - Render care to patients in accordance with quality and standards established by IMS, community standards of care, applicable law, and according to state and federal grant requirements for non-discrimination - Provide patient care via telehealth when applicable - Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications - Doctor of medicine degree from an accredited school of medicine - Current license to practice medicine in the United States - Board Certification or eligible for board certification Requirements - Doctor of medicine degree from an accredited school of medicine - Current license to practice medicine in the United States - Board Certification or eligible for board certification Benefits - Generous base pay - License and Malpractice fees paid - CME reimbursement - Company paid life insurance - Company paid long-term disability - Leadership opportunities - Paid Time Off - Medical benefits - 401(k) with immediate vesting and company match, up to 4%
