Role Description The Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by securing new business, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and providing excellent customer service. The role includes a strong client relations component to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and repeat business. Must have work experience in the following sectors (non-negotiable) with proven track record and references. Candidates with existing client portfolio will be given preference. - Alcohol - FMCG - Pharmaceutical - Food & Beverage - POP/POS/Trade Marketing Qualifications - Proven sales experience (3+ years), preferably in the Alcohol, FMCG, Pharmaceutical and the Food & Beverage Sectors - Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills - Excellent verbal and written communication - High negotiation and closing skills - Goal-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Requirements - Grade 12 or equivalent (minimum) - A diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business (preferred) - Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle (if required for travel) Duties & Responsibilities - Sales Responsibilities: - Identify and generate new leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and digital platforms - Develop and execute a structured sales plan aligned with company targets - Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals - Close sales and achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets - Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of all sales opportunities - Client Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients - Conduct regular client check-ins to assess satisfaction and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities - Serve as the first point of contact for client concerns and ensure resolution of issues in a timely manner - Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded in collaboration with internal departments - Monitor contract renewals and proactively manage retention strategies - Reporting & Administration: - Provide accurate weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, client feedback, and pipeline activities - Contribute feedback on client trends and competitor activity to support business development strategy Benefits - Market related
