Role Description - Strategic, technical and personnel management of the Pricing & Access Strategy team, focusing on drug launch strategies, price negotiations, reimbursement analyses and European market development. - Providing strategic advice to national and international pharmaceutical companies and biotechs on holistic market access strategies, pricing and reimbursement issues for innovative medicines. - Development of national and multinational integrated launch strategies and management of the implementation of market access launches. - Responsibility for product pricing strategies for Germany in close technical and strategic coordination with dossier preparation under Section 35a of the German Social Code, Book V (SGB V) and evidence generation, as well as for projects within the framework of price negotiations under Section 130b of the German Social Code, Book V (SGB V), including preparation, simulation and participation. - Evaluation of the commercial potential of innovative medicines for Germany and European markets (including the EU HTA context). - Continuous monitoring and analysis of health policy developments, as well as the design and evaluation of complex market analyses, stakeholder mappings and healthcare provision concepts. - Responsibility for project acquisition and the division’s tender strategy, including the evaluation of project enquiries, effort estimates and cost calculations. - Active involvement in shaping the division’s technical market positioning and service portfolio. - Representing the division to clients, external experts, scientific bodies and at national and international specialist events. - Contribution to European corporate strategy and health policy discussions, particularly in the context of EU HTA. Qualifications - A successfully completed degree (Master’s/Diploma) in health sciences, public health, medicine, pharmacy, economics or a comparable qualification. - Several years’ relevant professional experience in market access, pricing or the early benefit assessment of medicinal products, ideally with experience in consultancy. - A sound understanding of the structures of the German healthcare system and the relevant regulatory framework. - Experience in conducting price negotiations in accordance with Section 130b of the German Social Code, Book V. - Knowledge of national and European HTA procedures is an advantage (including EU HTA and Joint Clinical Assessments). - Leadership experience and a strong ability to develop teams. - Analytical mindset, a high degree of initiative and excellent presentation skills. - Fluency in spoken and written German and English at an academic level.
