• Support Sanitation Programs at Fluid, Cultured, and Ice Cream plants requiring approximately 70% travel to these facilities across New York State and New England • Provide technical leadership and guidance to Operations Quality, R&D, and manufacturing facilities in sanitation, pathogen/environmental control, integrated pest control, new equipment design, installation or construction and other food safety or quality initiatives related to sanitation processes • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic sanitation programs, policies, plans, and processes to meet Hood standards and support Food Safety requirements • Assist in quality issue troubleshooting and root cause analysis • Incorporate cleaning best practices for allergens and microbial control • Prepare plant-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP’s) for equipment and processes • Ensure SSOP forms and records are current and completed • Communicate significant issues or developments identified during plant visits and provide recommendations to management • Prepare and present technical and program information to team members and management • Direct technical and administrative workers engaged in sanitation activities • Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry codes and standards • Provide education and technical support for corporate sanitation and food safety policies

Job Summary: Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.
