Hindu American Foundation (HAF)

• Develop and implement a strategic plan to cultivate and strengthen ties with key K-12 education stakeholders, partner organizations, law enforcement agencies, and education administrative officials at the local, district, state, and national levels. • Spearhead educational presentations/trainings for K-12 educators and law enforcement agencies across the country • Attend education conferences in key states as an exhibitor and/or presenter • Participate in the development and distribution of K-12 educational resources in collaboration with external curriculum designers, in-house content specialists, and others as necessary. • Scale Dharma Ambassadors training program, including in person trainings for community members. • Meet regularly with leadership to review progress, challenges and successes, making adjustments to plan as necessary.

• Cultivate donor prospects through virtual AND in person meetings throughout the state of Texas • Solicit, secure, and follow up on financial commitments to the foundation • Research and qualify potential donors based on interests, engagement, and giving capacity • Support year-end, seasonal giving, and planned giving campaigns • Partner with the local Texas volunteer teams and Director of Events to coordinate fundraising events and galas

• Research, track, and analyze current events and relevant policies. • Develop local, state, and federal policy strategy and advocacy campaigns. • Work with Managing Director to implement goals for policy priorities. • Write long and short form policy white papers and documents. • Cultivate and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
